Notes for Sally KISTLER
Source of information below: Carolyn K. Buttolph, Fairfax, VA, KISTLER FAMILIES OF NORTH CAROLINA (unpublished). Letters in brackets ( ) indicate Buttolph's reference code for the individual.
Sally (BCF) is named in her father's estate papers. She may have been born about 1808. Land records (Book 40, page 253) for Rowan County, NC, show that Sarah sold her share of her mother's dower; her mother is referenced as Barbara, widow of Jacob. Since Sally's mother died about 1838 and since Sally is referred to as "Kestler", it appears that she had not married.
