Obituary: "Mrs. Frank Kistler. Our Blain correspondent writes: Many friends were sorry to learn of the death of Mrs. Frank Kistler...at her home in Jackson township, two miles north of Blain. ...Rebecca O. Kistler was the eldest daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Shumaker) Clouse, and was born on March 15, 1866, died December 26, 1917, aged 51 years, 9 months, 11 days. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary Woods, of Cumberland county. She was married to Frank Kistler, who survives her with the following children: Jacob Clair Kistler, of Jackson township; Stella, wife of Samuel Shields, of Madison township, and Joseph at home. ...She was a school teacher.
