Between 1767 and 1791, Nicholas was assessed for a grist mill and between 100 and 182 acres of land. Source: Berks Co. tax records, Pa. Archives 3rd Series, Vol. 18.

PENNSYLVANIA BIRTHS, LEHIGH COUNTY gives record of daughter Anna Catharina to Nicholas Lemperth and Dorothea. Reformed congregation, Lower Milford Twp.

From letter of Mrs. Federick Stahl, Victor, NY, 1992: "1792, Aug. 7, Cumberland County--warrantee for 200 acres. This was located on a small branch of the Big Buffalo Creek and bounded by lands claimed by the heirs of Thomas Patton, by land of Andrew Davis, of Henry Comp, and of the late James Semple. Nicholas paid $81.86 for this land, called "Omegh". On May 2, 1794 he bought 224 acres of land in Toboyne Twp. from Robert Pollock, sold 1 acre to James Miller before 1799. Feb. 2, 1799 Nicholas sold 223 acres to son George for 700 pounds (this was located in Toboyne Twp., Perry Co. in 1828 when the children of George sold the land.) 1820 he was assessed for 128 acres of ridge land in Toboyne Twp. (1933 this land was located in Jackson Twp., about 3 miles from Blain, according to Mrs. Rupp). Notices in "Perry Forester" Dec. 1823, "Public Sale - 23 acres, with small log house, adjoining lands of Henry Rhinesmith & others, and by Sherman's Creek. Also a tract containing 914 acres, and a tract containing 13 acres."
