"A daughter died in Germany; another daughter died on ship-board and was buried at sea; the family on landing consisted of the parents, a daughter, and two younger sons, Georg David and Johann Andeas, Jr." Settled near Grimsville, Berks Co., PA. Was tax collector for Greenwich Twp. in 1765 paid "7 pounds, 10 shillings and 6 pence on 150 acres of land, 8 Negros, 10 head of livestock..." Occupation: blacksmith.
