Littlestown, PA June 21st. Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Keeports, of this place, today observed their sixtieth anniversary. ...
Mr. Keeports is a native of Lancaster County, and is master of twelve sciences. He is Author of a book on "Life Theology" and has been awarded a membership and gold medal from the Parisian Academy, France, in honor of his discovery that gold and Platinum exist natively in their salts and ores.
Mrs. Keeports' maiden name was Lovina McIlvain, and she was a native of Hampstead, Md. Her father was Captain William McIlvain, who served under Commodore Perry in the War of 1812. Mr. and Mrs. Keeports have three children living, Mrs. Dr. J.W. Hickey of this place, Emory Keeports and Mark Keeport of Reading.
