Birth: Probably born in vicinity of Colebrookdale or New Hanover.

Confirmation: 1759 by Daniel Schumacher

Land Ownership: Was bequeathed 150 acres by his father, located "adjoining Martin Keffer and George Kreamer. In 1765, paid taxes on 100 acres in Greenwich Twp., Berks Co., PA. Also owned "three Negros".

Purchased 122 acres near present day Loysville, Perry Co., PA in 1788 from John and Agnes Sharp. In modern times owned by David Ritter; Source: Tressler history.

Donated land for Lebanon Church, cemetery and school at Loysville. First log church erected 1794; Source: Tressler history.

Military: Likely a captain in Smith's Company, 2nd Battalion, Berks Co. Militia; Source: Tressler history.

Death: Michael is buried in Lebanon Lutheran Church Cemetery, Loysville, Perry Co., PA.
