Notes for Samuel J. KISTLER
He was Justice of the Peace in Saegersville, first commission dated 4/11/1848 now in the Penn. Dutch Folk Museum at Lenhartsville. He was also an associate Judge of Lehigh Co. and served a term in the Pennsylvania Legislature. He was a delegate to the Republician convention that nominated Abraham Lincoln for president of the United States.
