| I made this banner for Lauren as a last minute Christmas gift. ;0) We had this dark green tablerunner that was perfect, all I had to do was alter it a bit and make those tops that it hangs from at the top (don't know what they're callled!). I also backed it with a flannel fabric, to stabilize the banner. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| I used felt for all the designs and the white horse. Due to time restraints (this was a last-minute gift!) I used fabric glue instead of sewing things on. It worked pretty well, but was such a hassle to work with! I DO NOT LIKE GLUE!!! lol. It took MANY washings to get that stuff off my hands after. ;0) The "design" on the horse was drawn with a brown fabric marker. It's really funny- getting the horse shape right was the hardest part for me! I can NOT draw horses (that's Lauren's strong point!). My first tries were pretty sad looking! LOL. Too bad I didn't take any pictures to post here.... Oh and in the future we plan on getting a better thing to hang it from. |
