Your Website Do's And Don'ts
�Don't have a dark background with dark text, it's hard for everyone to read.
�Don't have a light background with light text, it hurts people's eyes!
�Try to stay away from animated backgrounds. They're very distracting and look some-what tacky. It can also make your text hard to read.
�Don't have an all graphics site, it's boring and it can lag peoples computer because of taking to much time to load. People are interested in your content.
�Do have a lot of content. That's what people are interested in.
�Don't add those welcome pop-up's to every page you have! It makes it annoying if someone has to hit the back button on their browser and get hit in the face with itt 10x over
�Don't make your text BIG. This is not called for. Unless your trying to get a point across for a second, it's not hard for everyone to read point 1 or 2 text.
�Try not to have any false pages or broken links. That just makes everything difficult and the visitor won't really feel it's worthwhile to be there.
�Don't type LIKE THIS. It's very annoying. Try to type properly.
�Don't type LiKe ThIs EiThEr. Sticky caps SUCK. They're hard to read and your visitors may get confused. Not to mention it looks very tacky.
�Also, don't type "`like 'dis" either. Unless your page is for your "homiez" than no one will understand 'dat'. It makes the page(lol) seem unintelligent also.
�Update as often as you can.
