Opened

My spirit slept as a flower
buried 'neath the snow -
You came along with a sunny
warmth, coaxing love to grow.
A smile, a voice, your ev'ry touch
rained nourishment in my soul;

I knew, in moments, as we met
henceforth I would feel whole!
Even as your platonicity
brifely shadow'd fertile mind
The gentle memory of you
a growing slendor ere shall find...
