Hi! I know: I'm back with something new and 
its not the next installment of SOTP. Eh...I 
do need to do that eventually. BUT, for right 
now, I've finally decided to participate in a 
drabble challenge! They looked like a lot of 
fun, and what the heck, why not? So, I'll be 
posting my entries for SMfanfiction.net's 25 
Romantic Theme Drabbles Challenge here over 
the next few weeks. Hopefully, I'll finish 
them all by March 31 (eek...deadlines!) And 
you never know, maybe working on these will 
make me finally get around to finishing SOTP.

SMFanfiction.net's Romance Themes Drabble Challenge
Theme #1: "Stargazing" by Tess


	Mamoru closed his eyes and breathed 
in the cool spring air. “It’s beautiful out 
tonight, isn’t it, Mamo-chan?” Usagi asked from 
beside him, gently holding his large hand in her 
small one. Mamoru opened his eyes and smiled 
softly at his girlfriend. Looking up at the stars, 
he was suddenly struck with an idea.
	“Come with me, Usako,” he said, then broke 
into a run, pulling Usagi along with him. She 
shrieked in surprise at first, but then went along 
with whatever Mamoru had planned. He turned to look 
at her and grinned, still running through the streets 
of Tokyo. Usagi smiled. She cherished these moments, 
when Mamoru let his guard down and revealed to her 
the little boy inside of him. 
	Mamoru slowed down as they approached a large, 
grassy field. Usagi recognized it as the soccer field at 
her old elementary school. Mamoru led her to the center of 
the field, and then turned to her. “Lie down, Usa.” She 
looked at him quizzically, but he nodded, coaxing her on. 
She obeyed. Mamoru then lay down too, putting his arm 
around Usagi’s shoulders. He breathed in the scent of the 
grass, took in the sensation of the cool Earth against 
his back, and sighed in contentment. “Usako, look up.” 
She did, and gasped when she saw the thousands of 
twinkling stars suspended in the midnight sky. “I always 
wanted to go stargazing with you,” Mamoru whispered.
