"Please Remember Me" was the first story that I ever posted here, and is my least favorite story. I had just gotten into writing Usagi and Mamoru fanfiction, and, like every author, felt the need to have a breakup story. I really don't have any problem with breakup stories (there are some excellent ones out there), but I find this one to be very cliche. I'm really not trying to bash myself here; I'm just very critical. I was at this point where every song that I heard made me think of a story that I could write. I wrote this story probably in about an hour...lol...it was a rush job.
I've toyed with the idea of a sequel so many times since the ending of this one is so depressing. But on the other hand, not all aspects of like are happy, and I guess I felt the need to show that. Of course, in my optimistic heart, the couple that's meant for each other always ends up together in the end, anyway! Since it's such a short story, there's really not any trivia that goes along with it. Sorry!
