All but one Peter Criss cards were omitted & replaced with updated Eric Carr & Unmasked era images.
Strangely though, the original 1978 wrappers & boxes were still used (& still dated 1978), with the only one noticeable difference being 'NEW SERIES' overprinted on the boxes.
I can only guess the reason for the one Peter Criss card being purposely left in the set was for cost cutting measures & to justify why new updated artwork wasn't used for the box or wrappers.
In total, there were 21 new cards inserted & new backs were printed to form an updated poster of KISS featuring Eric Carr.
A set was also released in Argentina with portuguese writing on the backs..
