| COURTESY CHARLEY Episode 208 Michael is taking a stroll down Liberty Avenue, but every man he sees reminds him of Ben. He sees Ben everywhere, including Ben carrying a painting of Ben. LOL! Mikey tries dating since he and Ben broke up, using a dating service in town. We see glimpses of these dates. Mikey in a very nice restaurant where a man is singing Some Day Hell Come Along, The Man I Love. Only that day isnt in sight for Michael as all his dates are horrible. At the diner, Mikey and Ted talk about Michaels disastrous dates and the dating service he used. Mikey says all the guys lied about themselves in their ads. He didnt lie. Much, Debbie laughs and reveals that she called and listened to Michaels voice message about himself. Michael is humiliated. Deb wants Mikey to go see a matchmaker friend of hers who has much success in pairing perfect couples. Ted wants him to try another dating service. Mikey has no interest in either idea and declares that the next man who walks through the diner doors in the man he will live with for the rest of his life. All three turn as Emmett strolls in then, declaring that his roomie Michael needs to pay his half of the rent. Michael snatches up the paper and goes searching for the dating service Ted suggested. Brian at his loft getting dressed as his trick is about to leave. The man wants a second round, but Brian says no. Hes pressed for time. Trick has to go. The trick wants to see Brian again, but Brians not interested. Trick tries to kiss him, but Brian refuses and Trick realizes that Brian is in an open relationship. Trick advises against being open. He was in an open relationship once and it didnt work. When you leave the door open you have no control over who walks in or out. Brian isnt interested in his advice and tells him to take the stairs as we hear the elevator arriving. Justin and Jennifer step out of the elevator, shopping bags in hand. Justin kisses Brian in greeting, stopping a moment to sniff him. He smells the other man on Brian. Jennifer is babbling about what great deals she found at the mall while Justin is finding evidence that a trick has been there. Hes teasing Brian, holding up the condom wrappers behind Jennifers back and throwing Brians underwear at Brian when Jennifer isnt looking. Brian is amused. Jennifer produces a sweater she bought Justin and she wants him to wear it to Daphnes big party that weekend. Shes so excited that Justin is in school. It will be the best time of his life. But Justin has no desire to go spend the evening with a group of Daphnes straight friends. But Jennifer thinks he needs to meet people his own age and Brian agrees. But all Justin cares about is rushing Jennifer out the door. When shes finally gone, he gives a look like, I thought shed never leave before grabbing Brian and planting a lusty kiss on him. They fall back on the couch and Justin asks about the trick. Brian tells Justin to guess what the guy looked like. Justin starts this cute little sniffing of Brians body, guessing the guys appearance very accurately. He asks what Brian did to the guy and Brian suggests that he show Justin as he pulls Justin down to him. At Teds porn site, Emmett is jerking off before the web cam, dressed in camouflage gear. Once hes done performing, Ted brings over a box of letters and gifts that Fetchs fans have been sending him. Most of it is creepy letters and creepy gifts, except for one gold bracelet sent from an admirer of Fetchs. Emmett loves it, but Ted insists that the admirer is probably some nutcase and takes the gold bracelet away. When Teds back is turned, Emmett grabs it back out of the box and keeps it. Michael is trying to make a video for a dating service, but all three of his attempts are awful. He cant stop thinking about Ben and even thinks he sees Ben in the cameraman. Emmett is window shopping when Debbie joins him on the street. Em shows her his bracelet from his Secret Admirer. He thinks the guy must be some sort of prince charming. Em confides in Debbie, admitting that hed never tell the guys this because theyd laugh at him, but he really wants to find true love. Debbie scoffs that none of Emmetts friends would know love if they had it. Theyre too busy chasing their desires to listen to their hearts. She advises Emmett that when real love shows up, its rarely what you imagined it to look like. The perfect loves and prince charmings only happen in the movies. A stretch limo has pulled up on the curb and the chauffeur gets out says he has been sent by Emmetts secret admirer to Fetch him. Em is uncertain, but decides to go. At Brians loft, Brian, Michael, Ted, Lindz, and Mel are watching his video-dating ad. Its awful and Brian is the only one with the guts to say just how bad. Brian says that Michael has to sell himself. Brian grabs his camera and starts to take pics of Michael in different poses while Mel and Lindsay re-word his ad describing himself to sound more interesting without lying. Brian then puts Michaels pic and bio up at an Internet Dating service. Hes just made Michael the hottest guy on the net. Geez, Brian really *can* sell anything! In the limo, Em is eating the food and talking to himself about how this is the modern day version of Cinderella--where Cinderella is really a gay man. LOL!! They arrive at this mansion and Emmett is awestruck. He goes inside and sees this utterly gorgeous man standing at the top of the staircase. He rushes up to meet his Prince Charming, who it turns out is really the butler. He shows Emmett into a beautiful study. Emmett is giddy, commenting to himself that if *that* was just the butler, he cant wait to meet the master! He starts to dance around the room and steps in front of a chair where this old man is sitting, having been listening to Em talk to himself this whole time. Emmett is embarrassed and then unhappy to learn that this guy is really his secret admirer. Hes a much older man than Emmett, wearing glasses and a red sweater. He also thinks Emmett is a prostitute. He offers Emmett money to sleep with him. Em is totally furious and disillusioned. He tells his admirer--whose name is George Schickel--that hes not for hire and leaves in fury, but not before returning the solid gold bracelet to George. He doesnt want it anymore. Brian and Justin in the shower together--Oh, so nice! Theyre kissing and caressing and soaping each other up. Brian turns his back and Justin asks if Brian wants Justin to fuck him. Brian answers that he just wants his back washed. (Damn!) They get out of the shower and Justin says they need to hurry if theyre going to meet the guys. Brian suggests that Justin not go out with him and the boys tonight. He should go to Daphnes party instead. Brian does agree with Jennifer--He wants Justin to make friends with other people his own age. Justin replies that he and Brian are the same age-- emotionally. (Ha, ha!) Justin doesnt really want to go to the party but Brian pushes him to, saying that he can be with Brian anytime. Justin asks what if he meets some horny frat boy that wants him. Brian replies that Justin should do the guy then. Justin doesnt look too happy with that and Brian kisses him on the neck, admitting that he just wants Justin to enjoy his youth. Brian doesnt want Justin to regret later on in life that he didnt have the same experiences that other college kids are having. At Teddys house of porn, he and Michael are downloading the replies that Michael has gotten to his Internet dating ad. Hes got 19 guys wanting to go out with him. A furious Emmett shows up for work then and tells them who his admirer is. Ted and Michael are stunned because theyve heard of George Schickel--Hes the owner of Schickels Pickles. Hes a very wealthy man. Em doesnt care. Hes still too angry that George thought his money could buy Emmett. At Daphnes party, Justin is having a miserable time. A cute girl is checking Justin out, obviously interested and he looks horrified! Daphne tells him that if she can hang out with his homo friends at gay bars he can spend a night with her hetero ones. Justin sees a cute guy standing alone, looking as out of place as Justin feels. (Ok, according to Internet rumors this guy was suppose to be named Eric so lets call him that.) Eric sees Justin and is obviously interested, but hes very shy. Justin approaches him and makes a pass. They go upstairs together and Justin starts undressing Eric once theyre alone in a room. He pushes Eric down on the bed and Eric nervously admits that this is his first time. Justin has already figured that out and promises to go slow with him. Its very similar to the scene of Justins first time with Brian. At their apartment, Michael is dressed up for his date. Em is staying in that night, which bugs Michael. What if he and his date decide to stay there instead of going out? Emmett doesnt want Michael to get his hopes up about this guy. Sure, his on-line profile was great, but what if he lied? He might not be the hottie he made himself out to be. Michael argues that there are still some honest people in this world as he goes to answer the knock on the door. Its George Schickel and Michael stares at him in disbelief before slamming the door in his face. He declares that Em was right. The guy lied. His date is some 100-year old guy in a red sweater. Emmett sighs that the old guy is there for him. He goes to the door, which George is still standing outside of after having it rudely slammed in his face. Emmett proceeds to tell George off again, saying he doesnt appreciate being stalked and he wants George to leave him alone. George apologizes. Em doesnt care at first, but George keeps going. Hes obviously sincere and offers the bracelet back to Emmett. He really wants Em to have it. He asks if Em will consider having dinner with him, as Georges way of making up for their misunderstanding. Emmett agrees and he and George are leaving as Michaels date arrives. The date is everything he presented himself to be. Hes totally gorgeous and he and Michael start ripping each others clothes off immediately. Back at Daphnes party, Justin and Eric are laying in bed together afterwards and they start to talk. Eric asks about Justins first time and Justin talks a little about being with Brian. He can still remember every moment of it, how he wanted it to go on forever. Eric says he can relate. Uh-oh, this poor sweet kid obviously has it as bad for Justin as Justin did for Brian after their first time. Someone is banging on the door to the room, wanting their coats that are inside. Justin tells them to fuck off. He tells Eric that he hates these types of parties. Eric does, too. Justin says he wouldnt have came if not for his friend Daphne. Eric says he usually ends up miserable at these parties, watching the girls and the guys get together while hes alone.. Justin suggests that Eric go to some clubs and bars if he wants to meet guys. Eric says he doesnt want to meet just anyone. He wants to meet one special person that he can be with. Just him and that guy. Justin looks very sad as he states that it doesnt always work out that way. Eric tries to kiss Justin, but Justin turns away from him. Eric is hurt and starts to get dressed. Justin feels bad for the kid and pulls him back, kissing him this time. Oh, dear, Justin just broke his own rules. Emmett and George are in Georges limo, having stopped at a fast food restaurant for burgers. Emmett loves them and what makes them so good, he declares, is the Schickels Pickles that are on the burgers. He and Emmett start to talk and its a great scene. Emmett talks about his childhood and how his aunt use to make homemade pickles. She was the only friend he had, Em sadly recalls. Most people wanted nothing to do with the sissy boy. George says he admires Emmetts courage for being himself. George hid for a long time, even let his family pressure him into a marriage he didnt want just so their business and his new wifes business could merge together. Georges marriage failed when his wife caught him with the gardener. She left him, took half of everything, turned his kids against him, and make him into a social outcast. Hes a lonely old man now with no friends or family and seeks out company on the Internet. At Mikeys, he and his date are finishing up their romp on the floor. Michael comments on how perfect his date is and his date agrees--Yes, he is perfect. But that wasnt always the case. His date goes on to list all the work hes had done--Hair plugs, plastic surgery, hours a day at the gym, a careful diet, penile extensions. In fact, he thinks Michael should consider a penile extension. Oh, bet that hurt the old ego! Michaels not too pleased with his date anymore. Brian quietly sneaks up to the bed where Justin is sleeping, sliding his hand under the covers and playing with Justin until Justin wakes up, a smile on his face. Justin asks what time it is and learns its almost noon. Brian comments on how late Justin got home from Daphnes party. It must have been a wild one. He starts to sniff Justin, trying to guess what Justins party trick looked like. Hes not quite as good at it as Justin was, but finally guesses right after a few tries--Justin was with a virgin the night before. Brian starts to kiss Justin, but pulls back suddenly as he tastes the other guy-- You kissed him. A guilty Justin doesnt reply, but crawls out of bed to go take a shower. Brian looks troubled. At the diner, Michael tells Lindz and Mel about his date. The guy was perfect, until he started talking. Mel and Lindz cant believe that Michael slept with the guy right off the bat like that. Mikey argues that sex is different for men than for women. The girls then torment him by telling him how great their sex life is. Michael doesnt want to hear it. Debbie comes over to their table and asks if Michael is finally ready to go see her matchmaking friend now. He is. Brian is seriously working out at the gym, lifting more weights than he usually does. Ted asks why hes working out so hard and Brian says he just feels a little slack. He wants to tighten up some. Ted scoffs that Brian is living with an 18-year-old. What does he possibly have to worry about. Keeping him, Emmett declares. They give Brian a hard time about his age, unknowingly playing on his troubled thoughts as they ask him doesnt he worry that some younger, hotter guy will come along and steal Justin away. Brian gets irritated and snaps that at least he isnt dating some 100-year-old man like George. Emmett defends George, saying that George might not be some young, hot stud, but hes nicer than some of the guys Emmett knows. Em leaves and a surprised Ted asks Brian if Brian thinks that Em really likes this George. Brian replies that some guys like primed, aged cock. You better hope Justin does, Ted replies. They are so not helping Brians mood! Michael goes to see his mothers matchmaking friend--a drag queen named Ida. (And a hideous looking drag queen, too!!) Ida asks what Michael wants in a man and he starts to say he wants a good-looking boyfriend but Ida says that isnt what she meant. What about his personality? Mikey starts to describe his idea of what his true love is like, not realizing that hes describing Ben to a tee. Ida declares that she knows the perfect man and will set up the date for Michael. Theyre to meet at the restaurant where Mikeys other dates took place. Mikey asks how he will know the guy and Ida assures that Mikey will just know when he see the man. A nervous Eric shows up at the Liberty Diner, searching for Justin. Justin is so not happy to see him and they go outside to talk. Eric starts to say how all he can think about is Justin. Justin scoffs that Eric doesnt even know him. He doesnt want Eric coming to the diner anymore or trying to see him. What happened between them was just a one-night thing. Eric argues that hes in love with Justin. (Again, a scene very familiar to Brian and Justins early ones. Only now Justin is seeing a mirror image of himself from a year ago and hes the Brian this time.) Justin snaps at Eric, telling him to stop acting like some lovesick fairy. They fucked, nothing more. Eric doesnt believe that so Justin goes on to talk harshly to the kid. Very, very harshly. Damn, hes worse to this kid than Brian was to him in 102! Eric is crushed and leaves. Justin watches him go and is not very proud of himself or the way hes acting. Hes acting like Season One Brian and that isnt who he is. Emmett goes back to Georges mansion with burgers in tow. George is in his garden and he and Emmett sit together and talk. Em tells another story about how he tried to garden as a boy by planting light bulbs, thinking he could grown a chandelier. George thinks Emmett is charming. Oh, George is still calling Emmett by his porn name--Fetch. Emmett corrects him at this point and says that his real name is Emmett Honeycutt, not Fetch Dixon. They start to eat their burgers then. Michael is back in the restaurant, looking around for his date when he sees Ben sitting at a table. No, its not his imagination. This time it really is Ben. Michael is freaking out, wondering if Ben will see him or should he go over and speak. Suddenly, he concludes that Ben *is* his date. Ida has pointed him in the direction of the right man and he now knows it. Michael is thrilled and goes over to Ben, who is surprised to see him. Mikey starts to talk about Ida, but Ben doesnt know what he means. Michael realizes that and asks Ben if Ben is there for a date. Ben says he is . . . but not with Michael. Bens date arrives then and Michael is embarrassed and hurt. He hastily leaves, not noticing that his own date has arrived. At Babylon, Brian and Justin are watching the action on the dance floor and Brian wants them to pick out their tricks for the night. He points out a guy that he likes and suggests that Justin do the same. Justin randomly points at some guy and Brian comments that the guy is young. He seems more bothered by their age difference than Justin is. Brian declares that they should go for it then, but Justin stops him as he starts to walk away. Justin asks if they cant go home together instead, just the two of them and no one else. What about the game? Brian asks. Fuck the game, Justin replies as he kisses Brian. They kiss as the scene starts to fade to black. Brian gives Justin a slight push away from him, but then takes Justins hand and pulls him out of camera view. They go home together. (Thats my story, anyhow, and Im sticking to it!) |
