| COURTESY CHARLEY Episode 206 We begin with Ted and his new internet porn business. Em, Michael, Brian, and Ted are watching a twink jerk off on web- cam as its being seen on [email protected]. For guys who dont just work at work, Ted explains. It even has a boss screen. If the boss walks in, all you have to do it hit a button and the screen changes to look like account information. Ted gives the guy a break and the twink uses a jizzball to simulate cumming. Brian laughs--Leave it to Ted to fake an orgasm! Michael at his comic book store where Em, Vic, and Debbie are helping him get everything set up. Enter one drop dead gorgeous hunk. Tight jeans, leather jacket and cute glasses that make him look very intelligent. No one can take their eyes off him, especially Michael. Em, Mikey, and Vic discuss whether hes gay or not. DreamBoat asks Debbie for Wonderwoman and she jokes that she is her, but then calls Michael over to wait on the stud, explaining that its Michaels store and he knows more than she does. Dreamboat asks Michael to recommend any comics that might seem . . . Gay? Michael asks and the stud nods. Mikey starts to recommend a few. Justin has done several drawings using the new computer from the previous episode and College Dean is looking at them. Justin wants to return to P.I.F.A. Dean comments on how much anger he senses in Justins work now. Its different than the drawings originally submitted. Justin explains that its because he has changed. The bashing has changed the way he views the world, but its also taught him how to be a different type of artist. He cant use his hand like before. He will have to rely on the computer to aid his work. Dean is uncertain but Justin presses on, insisting that hes still an artist, even if he isnt using traditional means. Dinner at Debbies, Justin is relaying his meeting with the Dean and is asked what the Dean said. Justin happily states that the Dean said he could stay in the art program using the computer. Everyone is thrilled for him and Lindz, Mel, and Debbie take turns kissing and congratulating him. Brian complains that theyre going to turn him straight and then proceeds to demonstrate what a real kiss looks like with Justin. The gang teases them, everything from telling them to get a room to saying theyre going to do it at the kitchen table to suggesting they record themselves for Teds website. Justin jokes that it would be a good way to pay for college but Brian warns not to put any ideas in Teds head. Mel suggests that she and Lindsay perform on Teds site. That way they can afford to pay for their wedding. Ted says sure . . . if Mel can grow a cock between now and then. Lindsay doesnt like all the sex talk and asks if they can talk about something else? The table gets really quiet, no one can think of anything else to say, so Emmett starts back talking about Teds porn site. Justin starts to clean the dishes off the table but Debbie scolds him and tells him hes not going to buss tables at her house. Justin doesnt mind helping and asks Brian to grab that. Brian responds by grabbing Justins crotch and asking, That? Justin says he meant the dishes. Yes, dear, Brian jokes as he helps clear a few dishes off the table. Brian and Justin sneak off together then and Debbie laughs that theyre acting like a couple of newlyweds. Ted says it wont last and they start taking bets on how long it will take them to split up. Michaels the romantic, he gives them four weeks. Mel gives them 72 hours. Debbie scolds everyone, saying that, considering all the hell Brian and Justin have been through, shed think their friends would be rooting for them, not against them. Lindz seems to agree, but no one else does. Lindsay abruptly declares that she and Mel have to leave. Outside Debbies, Mel asks what is up with Lindsay and Lindz says she didnt like listening to all the talk about sex and the porn site. Shes being a prude and Mel seems a little bothered by it. Dreamboat is back in Michaels store. We learn that his name is Ben Bruckner and hes a college professor at Carnegie Mellon, where he teaches Gay Studies. Mikey is thrilled, realizing that Ben is gay. Ben is looking for works outside of traditional literature with a gay theme to them--something like a comic book. And Mikey obviously knows his comics. Ben asks if Michael would consider speaking to his class on the subject. Mikey asks if Ben is serious. He is. He can clearly see that Michael has a passion for the subject. Will Michael come speak to his class or not? Michael will. At the grocery store, some ugly-ass, greasy-haired guy is cruising Brian. Justin comes up and puts some things in the buggy, explaining that he has some coupons for them. Brian doesnt give a damn about saving 50 cents. He tells Justin to go get some other brand instead. As Justin walks off, Brian over-hears Greasy Hair telling his friend that Brian use to be the hottest stud in town, but now hes in a relationship. Brian doesnt like hearing that or the assumption that hes now a part of a handholding, coupon-clipping couple. Teds Jerker is unhappy to learn that hes not making more money. Ted promised him more. Ted tries to explain that hes just getting his site up and running. It will take a little time. Jerker is unhappy and quits. Justin and Daphne are walking back to Brians together, smoking a joint and getting high. Daphne is talking about her roommates and Justin is talking about how much he loves living with Brian. Daphne warns him not to get too cozy. He knows how Brian is. Justin disagrees, insisting that Brian really is changing. In fact, at the Supermarket, some guy was checking Brian out and Brian barely noticed him. They go upstairs and into the loft then. Poor Justin. He walks in on Brian fucking the greasy haired guy from the Supermarket on the couch. Brian sees Justin, but doesnt stop. Justin is hurt. At the diner, Michael is worrying over the speech he has to give to Bens class and wondering why he agreed to do this. Ted is upset over his site. Hes going to start losing money now that his Jerker has quit. Em is talking but no one is paying him any attention. Debbie comes over with coffee and Brian arrives, greeting everyone but Ted. He orders his food and Debbie remarks that he must have gotten lucky based on his good mood. Brians impressed that Mikey is giving a lecture to a college class. Ted is still worrying over his business. Emmett, realizing that hes being completely ignored, gives up and leaves. Brian calls out, asking for his food and Justin covers over then with his plate. Brian calls him Sunshine and tries to kiss him, but Justin pulls away and says he has to get to class. He leaves and, judging by the look on Brians face, Brian knows hes in the doghouse. Michael follows Justin outside and stops Justin as he tries to cross the street through heavy traffic, joking that no one ever taught him not to cross when something was coming. Justin is obviously troubled and Mikey asks what Brian has done and theres no need for Justin to deny that Brian did something. Mikeys knows that look. Thats the Brian Kinney just fucked me and not in a good way look. Justin replies that it wasnt him that Brian was fucking, but some guy on the couch. Mikey cant believe that Justin is surprised by that. Doesnt he know by now who Brian is and that Brian is never going to change? Justin asks why he is there then? Why did Brian ask him to move in? Michael, stupidly and very immaturely, declares that Brian only did it out of guilt because of the bashing. Justin is devastated and walks away while dumb ass Mikey tries to babble an apology. Too late, asshole. At the gym, Ted is still worried over losing everything now that he has no jerkers for his website. Emmett suggests he find a bigger attraction. They look over and Ems favorite porn star Zack OToole is working out. Em and Ted follow him into the steam room and make him an offer he cant refuse to appear on Teds site. Brian is driving Michael to Carnegie Mellon. Mikey is nervously practicing his speech and worried that he will mess up. Brian asks him why he agreed to do it to begin with if he didnt really want to. Mikey says its because the professor is really cute and Brian acts interested, to which Michael tells him not to even think about going after the professor. Besides, isnt Brian living with someone? Brian argues that he isnt living with Justin, Justin is living with him. (And the difference would be . . . ?) Michael acts all concerned about Justin then--yeah, where was that concern a few scenes ago when you were proverbially kicking Justin in the teeth with Brian just feels sorry for you?--and Mikey goes on to comment on Brians tricking. Brian says that it is no ones business--Michaels or Justins--who he sleeps with. He drops a very nervous Mikey off in front of the college and leaves Michael is walking down the halls, looking for Bens class- room, when he over hears a few students mocking the idea of a comic book geek lecturing them. They doubt the guy is very bright or will teach them anything. Michael chickens out of the lecture then and leaves. Mel comes home to find Lindsay looking at wedding dresses in a magazine. Mel brings up Teds website. She then brings out a few magazines shes had in hiding. She reveals that she once posed nude for them. When she came out to her parents, they cut her off for a while. She posed nude to make enough money to pay for her law school. Her parents eventually came around and they worked everything out. Lindsay doesnt know what to say to that revelation. Ted has over 500 subscribers at his site to see Zack OToole. The problem--Zack calls to say he cant make it. Hes on the set of his new movie and is running late. Ted is freaking, knowing that this is the end for him unless he thinks of something quick. That something is Emmett. He pushes Emmett in front of the web cam and demands that Emmett take Zacks place. At the loft, Justin is drawing on the computer when Brian comes up behind him. Brian starts touching and caressing him, kissing his neck. Justin is reluctant and asks Brian to stop, saying he has homework. Brian doesnt think hes serious and tries to kiss him again, but Justin isnt into it. Brian stops then and asks if Justin is still upset over Greasy Haired Trick. Justin has to know that the guy meant nothing. Justin does understand. He knows who Brian is by now and hes not asking him to change. Brian wants to know what the problem is then and Justin asks Why am I here?. Brian tries to make some smart-ass remark about how one night Justins Mommy and Daddy decided to make a baby but Justin isnt letting Brian off the hook this time. Hes insistent. Why did Brian let him move in? Was it just because Brian felt guilty over the bashing? Brian doesnt say anything and Justin demands, Answer me. Brian still doesnt reply, looking away instead. Justin assumes he has his answer. Justin gathers his artwork from the desk and walks away from Brian, who sadly stares at Justins drawing on the computer. Ben catches up with Michael and mentions that Michael never showed up for the lecture. He wants to reschedule. Michael declines, making an excuse about being busy. Ben thinks its just a nice brush-off, says he understands and starts to leave. Michael stops him and explains that it isnt for the reasons Ben is thinking. Its because hes not some smart guy that could teach anyone anything. Ben disagrees. He thinks what Michael knows is just as important as what others know. He loves the passion that Michael shows for his comics. Emmett does perform for Teds website--without the jizzball-- and is a, uh, *huge* success. Michael is in the lecture hall, showing a slide show to Bens class. Hes reading off cue cards and is basically boring the life out of Bens students. He realizes that and tosses out his plan and tries a different approach. Instead he starts to talk about why he loves comics and what they represent to him--which was an escape from a sometimes unhappy childhood. But later, when he came to realize that he was gay, he related to them. He understood living a double life. Pretending to be one person to the world when you were really someone else. The class has perked up and is now interested. Ben is definitely interested in Michael. A soaking wet Justin shows up on Debbies doorsteps with a few of his things in tow. He asks if she has rented out Michaels old room yet. Debbie ushers him inside. Debbie tracks down Brian, who is getting drunk at a bar. She calls him on his actions, asking hasnt Justin been hurt enough without him adding to it. Brian tries to act indifferent, but Deb isnt buying into his B.S. and tells him so. She reminds that she knows him too well and she knows that he cares for Justin just as much as Justin cares for him. Justin just has the balls to admit it. She insists that Brian admit the truth--He loves Justin, doesnt he? Brian sighs in defeat, knowing its pointless to deny it to Debbie. Deb encourages him to admit his feelings before he loses Justin. Ted and Emmett go to Babylon where Emmett is recognized from the website. He signs an autograph and he and Ted come up with a porn name for him--Fetch Dixon. Lindsay puts down her wedding magazines and picks up the mags where Mel has posed nude. She rather likes them. Mel joins her and they start to make love. A black and white scene of Babylon as Brian is checking out the action on the dance floor. The picture goes to color as it zeros in on Justin who is dancing with some cutie. The cutie starts to kiss Justin, which Brian doesnt like. He goes over and tells the guy to fuck off, which he does. Justin raises his eyebrows in question and Brian declares that Justin was right. The reason he asked Justin to move in was because of the bashing . . . but thats not the reason he wants Justin to stay. He wants Justin to be the person he comes home to. But Justin doesnt need to get any ideas in his head that they are some happy, married straight couple. If Brian is out late then Justin can rightfully assume that hes probably out tricking. But when he comes home, its because he wants to come home to Justin. Justin agrees to the open relationship, but offers some stipulations of his own--They can both sleep with whomever they wants. But only once, no numbers and names exchanged. And no matter where they are or what theyre doing, they always come home. By two in the morning. Brian smirks and says four. They settle on three. And the last rule--Brian cant kiss anyone on the lips but Justin. Brian agrees and they seal the deal with a kiss. At Bens place, Ben gives Michael a copy of the book he has written. Hes signed it especially for Mikey and Mikey is touched when he reads the inscription--Ben thinks he has the heart of a superhero. He hugs Ben and says he doesnt know what to say. Ben says he doesnt have to say anything. Michael kisses Ben. Ben kisses back, but pulls away when Michael starts to unbutton his shirt. Michael asks what is wrong and Ben says there is something that Michael has to know about him . . . Hes HIV positive. End of episode |
