Continuation from my angelfire site, which was a continuation from this site. Yeah, I know it's a bit mixed up
But I like it that way!

Under The Harvest Moon
I remember it as if it were yesterday
The day you told me you loved me
Under the harvest moon
The bright bonfire so fierce
Reflecting in your eyes
You smile and take my hand
Lead me out to dance
Enveloped in velvet fire and ebony lace
I follow you as I did that first night
Fearlessly. under the harvest moon
Among the safety of our friends
We dance, arms entwined
In the ancient Circle stone
Under the harvest moon
Where silvered ghosts moan
My Constantine, where's thy dark humor?

Hallowed Ground
(Winner of the DestinyUnknown Challenge, August 2005)
In an ancient world long ago
On a Midsummer's gentle eve
There took place the legendary Battle of
La Terre Sanctifiee
Close by the golden Meriathor sea
Lovingly adorned with arrowleaf finial
Did stand the last sacred House
Built on the last sacred hill
And out in the silent distance of
Two kilometers or more
There billowed His red sails
Numbering three and fourscore
The Conquerer's fierce armada
Came crawling over the placid sea
Drawing ever nearer to the House of
La Terre Sanctifiee
Lady Maeve, the Faerie-favored Guardian
Propositus in white
Looked to her childhood home and
Warned her people of the oncoming fight
The children were sent down below
As a last measure of safekeeping
Men and women gathered, weapons raised
But fearful eyes gave away their thinking
"He shall not be victorious!"
Lady Maeve cried on bended knee
"For this chersonese, this thalassic pathway
To the ziggurat, is well protected by me."
She pulled out her mother's dagger
To bury the silver blade in earthen floor
Then she cried "By the strength of our blood!"
And ran for the door
The Conquerer's forces dropped anchor
And threw themselves to dry land
Maeve and her kin watched them come
With spears and swords in hand
Then the enemy horde was upon them
And a bloody death was dealt quickly
To the first few brave defenders of
La Terre Sanctifiee
Over and under the Conquerer's shouts came
The howls of the Wolvenbane, melancholy
Their song filled full of memories past
Of the young ones laughing happily
Emboldened by thoughts of their children
The people fought, clashing metal rang
But the enemy cut right through them
Fierce bloodlust in their veins sang
It was a desperate battle to behold
The people fought on bravely
losing ground yet not their resolve to
La Terre Sanctifiee
But Maeve saw and mourned silently
With every death, came another blow
To the destruction of her people
By the unwavering foe
With arms flung to the open sky
And grim determination on her face
Maeve called forth the Wild magick
Of the Elder Faerie race
Hidden within the ancient Fey bloodline
That coursed her veins swiftly
She raised the storm that would cleanse
La Terre Sanctifiee
A shimmering of heat filled the night
As the heavens parted with a crack
Nine bolts of lightning touched ground
And then the sky turned black
It was over so quickly that
Not a scream was raised
Till her kin looked round and saw
The once fertile ground laid waste
With heavy hearts they realized the price
Maeve had paid to keep them in safety
Broken Faerie vow meant exile from
La Terre Sanctifiee
Sadly, Maeve smoothed her skirts down and
Gave a soft smile ruined by tears
"I did what I could, all I had left
I go knowing you'll be safe in coming years."
And so as she walked away she began to fade
The energy spent had made her weary
A trick of moonlight and Lady Maeve disappeared
To begin her journey back to Faerie
And in that ancient world long ago
On that Midsummer's fateful eve
There took place the legendary Battle of
La Terre Sanctifiee

your ploy won't work on me
your little gambit
to make me talk
i know what you're doing
it's written
all over your face
verbal joists of joviality
kindness
building foundations of friendship
persistant lover
i will balk and evade
smile
and i'll look away
charming cozener
perpetually single-minded
if i give you my number
will you just go away?
oh no, it's not you
it's me: i don't like you

Memento
Cherished memento hung on the wall
put there by wizend hands
Shattered relic of the Hero's Fall
at the Battle of the Burning Sand
Consecrated magick of the last Age
forged in the Rivers of Blood and Fire
Given strength by the quintessential Mage
mythical Keeper of the Serpent's Eye
Runic inscriptions traced in gold
digressed Sendings along blade and hilt
Secretive whispers from Magician old
foretold in that mysterious gilt
From the ashes shall rise another King
the Night Terrors will be driven away
The Circle of Life, the Dragon's Ring
Human, Animal, and Grain
What once was broken shall be made whole
and She who is ethereal will live again

wolf mother in your dark cave
snuggle your pups
keep them in safety and warmth
bold and beautiful runner in the night
chase down the deer
amid the silent meadows
playful lupa, swift as the wind
sing with your mate
the moon goddess smiles on you

'The Big Bad Quack' a limerick
There once was a werewolf named Jack
Who was quite taken aback
When he opened his muzzle to howl
And frighten humans with a growl
Instead out came a great big QUACK
