Dear Mr. Simmons,
Let me start off by saying that i did not grow up a KISS fan. I was introduced to them by my husband, who has been a fan for as long as he can remember. He took me to the show in Philadelphia in 1998 and since then i was hooked. I loved the music, and the all-around show.
We also went to the "farewell" show in 2000 in Scranton, PA. Once again, it was awesome.
There are a few issues I have with you and KISS now, however. First of all, why did you call the farewell tour the farewell tour when you knew damn well it wasn't? Touring makes you money, and you are way too greedy to stop.
Second, this new tour with Aerosmith is the most disgusting, money grubbing enterprise I've seen. Selling fans tickets for a thousand dollars so they can meet you. Please. I read the press release on KISSONLINE about it and it says fans are not allowed to bring cameras backstage with them, and autographs are not guaranteed. If you're going to make yourselves available like that, the least people should be able to do is take a picture and get your autographs. Especially after the price they paid.
Third, where is Alive 4?
We won't be going to see the new show or any tours after...you need to stop. You're in the process of ruining the KISS name. What was once a great band is now becoming 2 rich greedy old guys who just want more more more money.
Respectfully,
Gail Kelly
