THEORY
OF STUPIDITY
Oh, he walked up to me
with a smirk on his face.
Says he’s heard somewhere
I’ve been all over the place.
He asks how much I want
for as long as he’s got,
and the poor boy walks away
in pain.
Oh, can someone tell me
the theory of stupidity?
Can you tell me why
all I am is something to play with?
Can you tell me how
they can stay so dense
for so long?
I’m not theirs
to own.
Oh, I’m really gettin’ sick
of that look that he’s got.
He tells me I’m hot
and he's got a lot on his mind
that he could do with me.
It’s like to him,
to all of them,
that the word no means
something much different.
Well, if that’s what you
expect of me,
you’d better be prepared
for the rest of me.
Oh, can someone tell me
the theory of stupidity?
Can you tell me why
all I am is something to play with?
Can you tell me how
they can stay so dense
for so long?
I’m not theirs
to own.
I am not yours!
