I met like the totally hecka finest guy in the world's mom! I met Jay Gordon's *edit* mom Bobbie!!! Oh my god! She is the coolest mom I have ever met. It was kinda funny how we met her because we were just sitting around at a Bar-B-Q on the fourth of July & me & my friend *Smantha* thought today was gonna be really really boring & boy were we wrong! She was not even gonna ask us if we has heard of the band 'Orgy' because everyone she has asked has been like "Who, What?" so it she was not even gonna talk to us, but she did & she was like, "Have you gilrs ever heard of the band Orgy??" & we were like, "Yea." & she goes, "well, Jay is my son!" & of course we were like, 'yea right...' so it went on that we didn't believe her for a good 5 minutes then we decided to believe her & to find out it was true. We found out lots of neat stuff, got to talk to her, sang Blue Monday to her *she was totally florred that we knew all the words to it.* then her significant other at the time took us to their house, but she made us *jokingly* promise that we wouldn't take any pictures off the wall. *ha* we didn't but he did give me the Candyass c.d. that Jay had given to them & gave Sam a picture printed off the net of tour dates. When we got back to the Bar-B-Q we hung out with her for the remainder of the day. Totally amazing day there! Jenn- Date: June 21st, 2000 Subject: Orgy on the 16th of June @ about 9-10-ish at night me, Sam & Tamra went to Bobbie's house just to say hey & come to find out Jay had just sent her the un-finished version of Vapor Transmission *at that point it was going to be called something else but I don't know if I am allowed to release that to the net* It was an amazing moment right then we were the only fans who had heard the new c.d.! Jenn- Date: August 6th, 2000 Subject: Orgy Yesterday I went to Bobbie's house *for something that I am not going to reveal here* where Jay was supposed to be, but he wasn't there when we got there & there was a reason he wasn't there yet. About 2-3 weeks prior his back went out. Even though he wasn't there the event was still coolwe got there @ 2:30 & to find out quiet a bit of his family members were there. We *me & Sam* met his Aunt's Paula & Carol & we even met Uncle Brad! They were VERY cool people! When we got there Auntie Paula called Jay to see if he was gonna come & this is the convo. *which I am not putting up here, just for personal reasons* Anyway he said he'd be there @ about 11 p.m. that night. We unfortunatly had to leave at 8:30, but we left someone there to call us when Jay got there. Unfortunatly that person left with some friends & never called. Jay did show up at about 1 that morning, but we didn't get to see him, threw my friend into depression, ofcourse I cried, but it wasn't the end of the world. I would have liked to see him, but I know there will be another chance. On the bright side I got Auntie Paula's E-mail address so we can keep in touch! Jenn- Date: August 9th, 2000 Subject- Orgy At 3:10 me & Sam were sitting at the Taco Bell I was drinking a D.R. pepper & Bobbie drives by us so we sprinted out of Taco Bell like physco's & finally caught her at a coffe shop. We didn't talk long, just about the 6th of August & how great it was. I got her address to send her some stuff then we left her alone. *ha* Jenn- Continued --> |
