A day in the life of Stephanie McMahon...morning...

The scene opens at UPW Headquarters where Stephanie McMahon is seen walking out of an elevator on the corporate floor. She is walking out with a determinted step, heading towards a large solid door with the words "Diva CEO" on it in gold letters with her name underneath it. Waving a good morning to her assistant, she steps inside a comfortable corner office that is decorated tastefully in reds and golds with a black lacquered desk in the corner of the windows. Moving behind the desk, she stuffs her purse into the large side drawer as her assistant bustles in with a large cup of tea and a bunch of papers and a video tape. Handing the tea to Stephanie who smiles at the scent of spiced Chai, Brian sits down in front of the desk.

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess Thanks Brian, right on time and ready as ever. So what do we have on the agenda today?

Brian smiles as he taps the files on his knee then opens the agenda book. Brian smiles up apologetically at Steph as he begins to read off the schedule.

Brian: Assistant to The Billion Dollar Princess Well, first off is a meeting with the Board of Directors at 10 am then a lunch date with your mother, nice lady by the way, not snooty at all, and then later tonight, the contract signing for your match at the Crisis Control pay per view...

Stephanie nods as she swings the chair around and looks over the skyline as she sips at the tea. She heard the catch in Brian's voice and dreaded what it portended.

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess Okay Brian, out with it. Something has you perturbed for some reason and I don't think that it is a good thing.

Brian: Assistant to The Billion Dollar Princess It isn't Stephanie...I was watching something that you really need to see...Debra fired the first shot in this match...took you to court she did...made you look like a bitch using that slut Michelle McCool.

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess Hang on Brian, before we start using language like that, let's look at the evidence okay?

Stephanie turns back around as Brian nods and heads towards the wall where he presses a button and opens an entertainment center. Slipping the tape into the vcr there, he grabs the remote and steps back as he presses play. Sitting there, Stephanie leans back in the plush leather of the chair and steeples her fingers as she watches. The whole fiasco plays out like some B rated movie. Stephanie gets a pained look on her face like a headache had slammed into her skull. Brian turns it off after Michael Cole talks to Debra. Stephanie reaches forward and buzzes her secretary.

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess Could you please get me Michael Cole, and tell him to bring a cameraman. ~She turns to Brian again and shakes her head.~ God I hate it when someone can conveniently forget things in their total quest for power. Well when it comes to facing off against Stephanie McMahon, Debra has another thing coming. She is going to learn that I am not the type to roll over and die just because she wants something. She is going to get a rude...

Stephanie is interrupted by Michael Cole knocking on the door with a cameraman in tow.

Michael Cole: The Frosted Flake You wanted to see me Stephanie?

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess I certainly did Michael...come in. I just want to make a statement about that "interview" you did with Debra...

Michael Cole: The Frosted Flake Listen, I can explain that see, Debra came to my office with Sid and well Sid said something about pain...and suffering. I don't do well with pain and suffering Stephanie. And she even wrote my script, just like she wrote the script for Kim Page, and all the divas that are against you and well...did I mention that Sid talked about pain and suffering?

Stephanie just looks at Cole as he is babbling. Finally she just holds up her hand to stop him.

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess Listen, I don't know why she feels so slighted or why she wants to take me out but let me tell you this. No amount of coersion or extortion is going to take me out of my position as CEO and no amount of fantasizing will make her the head of the Divas. Now, the reason you are here is to get a statement from me concerning that sham of a trial...Speaking of...Brian, can you get me a Webster's please?

Brian: Assistant to The Billion Dollar Princess Right away Stephanie...

Brian leaves Michael Cole and Stephanie in the office as he begins to search out that dictionary. Michael Cole looks at Stephanie who has leaned her arms on the desk and laced her fingers together. Michael doesn't know what to say but he is saved as Stephanie begins to speak first.

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess What I brought you here for Michael is the fact that I happened to have been given a copy of the Queen's Court where I was put on trial. I saw how Debra used people to talk about me and how she had me portrayed as a moronic imbecile that isn't prepared or isn't cognizant of what is at stake and how people, namely Debra see me as. Needless to say Michael, Debra has once again gotten it all wrong. My first question when I saw that video was what was the color of the sky in her world? Must be nice to live in that world of make believe. But then it occured to me that she is just grasping at straws. Putting me on trial and then proceeding to totally make a fool out of herself...

Michael Cole: The Frosted Flake What do you mean making a fool of herself Stephanie?

Stephanie is about to answer when Brian walks into the room carrying a large book with "Merriam Webster" on the front of it. He laid it in front of her with a smile. Stephanie nodded her thanks and motioned for Brian to leave. She opens the dictionary as Michael watches her. Finally she looks back up at him and smiles.

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess Here we go...right here is what I wanted to show you and Debra...

Stephanie turns the book around so that Michael can read it. She points out the word and he leans over the desk then looks at Stephanie confused.

Michael Cole: The Frosted Flake You are accusing Debra of perjury?

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess That's right Michael, perjury. After watching that little court room drama that wouldn't even make it onto PBS if she funded it herself, I realized that Debra twists the truth and lies every chance she gets. Let me give you an example...

Stephanie grabs the remote and rewinds the video of the court room scene and then presses play...

/_\-Mizz Debra-/_\-Queen of UPW- Thank you. [pokes out tongue to "Stephanie"] That would make me 2-0. The same exact record as Tracie Wright..yet I'm thrown into a tag team match AGAINST MY WILL with Kimberly Page? While other diva's are fighting for a shot that should be mine?! Tracie Wright's 2-0 and she's getting a shot at the same person I beat on X-Fire, Pamela Paulshock. It's not fair.We have the same record, couldn't this be a triple threat match or something?!

Stephanie stops the video and looks at Michael Cole.

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess Did you see that. She didn't even mention the fact that SHE has already had a title match.

Michael Cole: The Frosted Flake WHA?!? Debra's already had a title match? Against who?

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess That match that she was talking about...beating Pamela Paulshock with the help of Sid...that was a title match and in her voracious desire for a perfect record and seeming title shots she totally destroyed the fact that she just might have won the IC championship if Sid hadn't interfered.

Michael Cole: The Frosted Flake Wow, so Debra did have a title shot? And won but didn't get the title?

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess That's right Michael. She had Sid come in and help her, and in doing so, lost herself the Intercontinental Championship.

Michael Cole: The Frosted Flake That is really going to pi...make Debra mad.

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess You think she is really going to be angry? I thought she might but she seems to be able to put things like that behind her. And Kim Page only took her lips off Debra's rear long enough to put her foot in her mouth. She has had title matches...Pamela has defended her title more than Kim did...besides, should Debra become Diva CEO, we would see her award herself title matches and then none of the divas that actually work for their shots would get their shots. I am the diva CEO and with me in charge, every diva has had a chance to make their mark on the federation. And that is why I am putting my own body on the line in this I quit match. For all the divas that do deserve to have a fair and impartial CEO and that sad to say would not be Debra!

Stephanie still seems to be calm as Michael Cole's eyes are wide. He is just about to say something when Brian walks in.

Brian: Assistant to The Billion Dollar Princess Just here to remind you about the meeting of the board. You have to be in the boardroom in 10 minutes.

Stephanie stands and smiles apologetically at Michael Cole.

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess You heard the man. Have to go. It has been nice talking to you Michael and I will see you again...

Stephanie steps around the desk and moves towards the door that Brian is holding open. She walks out and turns to head for the boardroom leaving Michael Cole to watch after her in surprise as the scene fades out.

A meeting of the Board...

The UPW boardroom is decorated in calming colors of blue and beige with large comfortable seats that at the moment are filled with the board of directors. All of them are watching the door silently. The door knob spins slowly and the door opens inward as Stephanie is framed by the light of the hallway. Moving inside, she lets the door close as she takes a seat at the end of the long board table and laces her fingers together as she waits for someone to speak. She doesn't have long to wait.

Spokesman for the Board We have to ask you Stephanie, just what are you thinking, letting Debra do what she has? Having the divas forced into signing a petition that will run you out of being the CEO of the divas for UPW, threatening and cajoling and whatever else she can? Please take a moment to explain to us why you didn't fire her right away.

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess Technically I couldn't fire her without just cause and she has been keeping everything on the up and up. Except for the one name, Christy Hemme on that petition which was done without Christy's consent. However, I have had a chance to check over the petition and she doesn't really stand a chance of dethroning me.

Spokesman for the Board And this challenge...you didn't have to accept it.

Stephanie smiles a bit as she nods.

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess I know I didn't. But I also know that if I don't put Debra in her place at Crisis Control, then she is just going to continue this propaganda against me. But if I beat her and make her say I quit...then I will show the world that I was fair and I gave her a chance and the better woman won the CEO position. I am not one to stand back and be a paper CEO. My divas go out and they give 110% every night. I can only do the same as they do. I am no different than any other diva that works for the company...well, except for one diva. I do not put myself on the same level as Debra. I don't need to use coersion and threats to do the better job. And if it takes going to Crisis Control and beating her until she screams I quit then that is what I will do.

The board members nod and talk among themselves as Stephanie sends a glance around the table at the different people sitting there. Finally the spokesman looks back at Stephanie and nods his head.

Spokesman for the Board The board is behind you Stephanie but if you should lose, we are going to enforce the stipulation of taking the CEO position and giving it to Debra. So piece of advice to you Stephanie McMahon...don't lose.

Stephanie locks eyes with the spokesman and a familiar smirk appears on her lips. She pushes back from the table and stands but is stopped by the man once more.

Spokesman for the Board Office odds by the way Stephanie, put you as the underdog right now with the fact that Debra has Sid and Michelle and you are outnumbered 3 to 1. But you look spunky, so I got my money on you.

Stephanie shares a laugh with man as they shake hands. She turns to go and walks out of the board room. Just as she does, Brian, her assistant comes up with a pink piece of paper. Handing it to Stephanie, he watches as she reads it.

Brian: Assistant to The Billion Dollar Princess Your mom called and said that she can't make lunch today but asks if she can raincheck for tomorrow.

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess Got my phone with you?

He hands her the slim phone and she opens it and presses a button, the speed call to her mother. Walking along the hallway, she listens until the call is picked up.

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess Hi Mom, how are things up in Conneticut? ~she pauses as her mother talks~ Sounds about right to me. Listen, where do you want to meet tomorrow for lunch? ~she pauses again as her mother talks~ Gotcha, be there tomorrow noonish. But have to go Mom, have to get ready for tonight...contract signing. Love you bye.

After hearing her mother say goodbye, Stephanie shuts the phone and heads towards her office once more. She moves behind the desk and spins to look over the city.

Stephanie McMahon: The Billion Dollar Princess Brian, I want you to get the contracts ready for tonight. Because I want them to be airtight and unbreakable for when I beat Debra...

Brian nods as he leaves Stephanie's office. She smiles as she looks over the city below, relaxing in her comfortable leather sofa.

The contract signing...

An arena is seen, full of UPW fans who have signs and are rather loud and crazy as they are watching the show. Suddenly the fans rise to their feet cheering as All Grown Up plays over the arena speakers. Stepping out on the ramp, Stephanie smiles before heading to the ring. Sliding inside, she raises her arms as she acknowledges the cheers of the fans.
