Dear Parents

Reports & Parent Interviews

School reports for pupils go home today. A letter to arrange appointment times for parent teacher interviews is attached. On Tuesday 25th July, interviews for parents of Primary Department pupils will be held. On Wednesday 26th July interviews for parents of Secondary Department pupils will be held. 

Bastille Day Celebration

The Bastille Day celebration held at the Yacht Club was a most enjoyable evening. Special thanks to the school PTA and the French Community for organising this. The event raised RM3,250 for the school. 

End of Term Arrangements

• Friday 28^th July is the last day of term. The school will close at 12.00 noon. Can all parents make arrangements to collect their children at this earlier time.
• Library books and readers must be returned to school by Monday 24^th July.
• There are no club activities next week.
• There will still be swimming next week on the same days as they normally are held.

Books for Library

In an attempt to develop the books in our school library, families returning to their home country during the holidays or going overseas for a holiday, are asked if they could donate a book on that country. This would be a wonderful way to promote learning about these countries.

Building Project Survey

The result of the recent survey in regard to the building project, requesting a further RM100,000.00 was approved by the vast majority of parents. The Board of Management will make the final selection of the contractor next week.

Reception – Year 3 Trip

On Tuesday, our Reception to Year 3 pupils went on an interesting and informative visit to the Post Office as part of their topic on communication this term. We would like to thank Mr. Vekic for allowing the children to picnic at the Shangri-la Beach Resort, Tanjung Aru – a beautiful venue for lunch.

Lions Club Fund Raiser

The Lions Club are organising a carnival to raise funds for charity. The carnival will be at Majlis Perkhidmatan Masyarakat Social (Jalan Tuaran) on 31st August. Money vouchers for this fund raiser are available at the School Office for anyone wishing to attend.
