Dear Parents

Successful Fun Run

Last Saturday’s Fun Run/Family barbecue was a great success. Over 140 people attended the barbecue, and close to 60 people had the energy to participate in the Fun run. Thank you to all the families that supported this event, and a special thank you to the PTA members who put a lot of work into organising the barbecue. 

Bastille Day Celebrations

A final reminder that the Bastille Day celebrations will be at the Yacht Club this evening, beginning at 6.00pm. This is being organised by the French Community of Sabah and our school. 

Swimming Next Week: ELC – Year 3

Next week the ELC class will be swimming on TUESDAY, and the Reception to Year 3 classes will be swimming on WEDNESDAY. Please be sure to send swimming outfits on the correct day. 

After School Clubs

Next week will be the last week for after school clubs. 

Mufti-Day: Friday 21st July

Next Friday the Student Council are organising a Mufti Day for pupils. Pupils will be permitted to come to school dressed in anything other then their uniform if they wish. The cost of this is RM5.00.The proceeds from this will go towards Student Council projects which they have planned for the school. 

 

School Reports/ Parent Interviews

School reports will be sent home next Friday (14th July). Parent interviews will be held on:- 

  •  Primary: Tuesday (18th July)

  • Secondary: Wednesday (19th July)

Fire-proof Safe Required           

The school needs to purchase a fire proof safe to store the IGCSE examinations papers next year. If anyone has a safe to donate or sell to the school please contact the office.

 Successful Careers Week 

This week is Careers Week and a number of parents have volunteered to speak to the Year 4 – 10 pupils about their careers. The pupils have found this very interesting and it has stimulated a lot of discussion amongst them. A special thanks to Mr Rocastle, Mr Schilthuizen, Mrs Moller, Mr Wong and Mrs Kofod for agreeing to speak to the school.
