Dear Parents

School Christmas Bazaar

The Christmas Bazaar held last weekend was a tremendous success with all the families and friends of the school providing wonderful support for this fund raising event. At this stage it appears that RM8500.00 was raised at the bazaar; an excellent effort. The PTA is to be congratulated on their organisation of the event, and a special thank you to all the staff, students and parents for their commitment to making it the success that it was.

Farewell to Ms Beatrice

After a number of years working with the pupils in our school, Ms Beatrice has decided to join her husband in his retirement. Her last day will be next Tuesday. Ms Beatrice has done tremendous work and will be missed by staff and children alike. On behalf of the school, particularly the pupils who have always enjoyed her warmth and assistance so much, I would like to thank Ms Beatrice for all the time and effort she has committed to assist our school. We wish Ms Beatrice and her husband the happiest of retirements.

 Geography Field Trip

The Year 6&7 and the Year 10&11 students went on a field trip to the Kionsom River as part of their geography studies. Some excellent field work was conducted and it proved to be a very good practical experience for all the students. I would like to thank Ms Stansfield for organising this, and also Mrs Hamilton and Mr Vekic for their assistance during the trip.

Car Stickers

Parents are reminded to collect their car stickers from the office. These can be purchased for RM5 each. If a family has more then one car they will need to collect enough stickers for each car. If you are sending someone other than yourself to collect the stickers, then please write a signed letter authorising them to do so.

It is important that you know your car licence plate numbers because these will be immediately written on the stickers and also recorded on the master file in the Office. Please note; as of the first day of next term, if you do not have a car sticker displayed on your car you will not be permitted to bring the car into the school compound. Instead, you will have to park outside the gates.
