Dear Parents

KIS Success at Sutera Harbour Triathlon

Our school had a large number of pupils entered the Sutera Harbour Sprint Triathlon held on Wednesday 14 November and all of them performed with distinction. Whilst we had a number of individual and relay team successes, it was all the pupil’s determination to complete this very difficult race that was impressive.

Derek Lawrie came in a very credible third place in the Under 12 competition, with Nicholas, Logan and Tobias in hot pursuit. These boys put in a fantastic effort to complete the race as individuals. Our Under 12 boy’s relay team (Randall, Jun Hyun and Marco) came first in their category, while the Under 12 girl’s relay teams (Ying, Min Yee and Michelle) came second and third (Chithra, Louise and Erin).

In the Under 16 category, our relay teams (Marc, Erin and Samuel) were first and second (Kevin and Ashley).

Christmas Bazaar: 24th November

We are now into the count down to the school Christmas Bazaar, our main fund raising activity for the year. There has been a good response to date, but still hope for just a little more.

Please remember to bring in the money for the raffle tickets and the stubs of tickets sold. Similarly we are still looking for more donations of used toys, books and magazines. We also are hoping for a few parents to donate food dishes for the food stall. If you have food to donate please see Helen Wong or Alice Chung.

The Tiger Club is in need of shredded paper for their activity. If you have this please see Miss Johnstone.
