Dear Parents

Mid-Term Break

A reminder to parents that the school will be closed next week for a mid-term break. The school will re-open on Monday 29th October. On behalf of the school I wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday break.

Mulu Caves  Visit Postponed

The planned Key Stage 3 field trip to the Mulu Caves has been postponed to next term. We thank all parents for returning the reply slip about this visit so quickly.

Art Day: November 2

The school will be organising an Art Day on Friday, November 2nd. Any parents that have ideas or know local artists that could contribute to this, please see either Ms Dennis or Cigku Mutang.

Grade Cards

The Secondary Department grade cards are being sent home today. Parents are reminded to return these the week that the school re-opens.

School Photographs

There are still fourteen families who have not paid for the school photographs. Please do so as soon as possible.

PTA Christmas Bazaar

The school PTA are organising a Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, 24th November. This is the main fund raising event for the year. Everyone’s assistance and co-operation in ensuring the success of this event is requested.

Parents able to make donations of prizes for the various activities are to speak to any member of the PTA. Similarly, any parent that would like to organise a stall please see Diana Hughes or Nelsia Bursche. The PTA are also inviting outside organisations and businesses to organise a stall for a charge of RM50.00.

School Uniforms

Parents are reminded that the school uniform as set by the Board of Management requires that all school shoes should be predominantly white. We have a few students that are coming to school in a variety of colours other then white. All families are requested to adhere to this school policy.

Students with Hand Phones

Parents are reminded that students are NOT to have hand phones in school; even if these are kept in their school bag. There is simply no need to have them in school. A pay-phone is provided by the school for students to use, and in the cases of emergency the students can also use the office phone.
