Athletics Sports

Yesterday proved to be an enjoyable and successful Athletics Sports day for the school. The pupils were very involved in so many races; this was particularly noticeable in the 800m race in which we had some 40 pupils entered the race. In the end, it was the Sapi House that won the overall points competition.  Well done Sapi!! 

A special thanks to Cikgu Mutang for organising the day, and to all the staff and parents who braved the hot conditions and acted as race officials.

Reception - Year 3 Beach Camp

The Reception to Year 3 classes are on a day camp at the Tunjung Aru beach as part of their geography work on the local environment.

Year 4 & 5 Class Trip

Year 4 & 5 will be out on a class trip to a chocolate factory next Wednesday morning. This is part of their Ancient Aztecs topic. Mr Lamb gave the class a very informative talk earlier this week on the cocoa plant and its origins in Aztec civilisation.

After School Clubs

A reminder that there will not be after school clubs next week.

Swimming

There will not be any swimming for pupils next week. The only exception to this will be the Year 4 & 5 Class which will still go swimming.

Mufti- Day / Cake Sale

Next Thursday, 12^th April there will be a Mufti-Day for all pupils. This means that they can come to school without having to wear their school uniform. For this 'privilege' they will have to pay RM5. The money raised from this will go towards the Student Council funds.

On the same day there will also be a cake sale in school. This is being organised by the school PTA.

Parent Teacher Interviews

Parent teacher interviews will be held next week on Tuesday (Primary Department) and Wednesday (Secondary Department). A letter is going home today for you to select an appropriate time to meet with your child's teacher. Please return this to school by Monday 9^th April.

IGCSE Examinations

Our Year 11 pupils will be sitting their first IGCSE examinations next week on Tuesday and Wednesday. This will be the oral exams for Bahasa Malaysia and English Second Language.

End Term Arrangements

The last day of term is Thursday 12^th April. School will close at 12.00noon. Parents are requested to collect their child at this time.

 All pupils should return their school library books by Tuesday 10^th April.

Sutera Harbour has organised a holiday programme for our pupils. Please check the school notice board for details.
