Reception - Year 3 Class Trip

The Reception, Year 1, 2 and 3 pupils went on an informative class trip to the Nurul Hikma Mosque in Bukit Padang. This was part of their geography work focusing on the local area around the school. A special thanks to Mr & Mrs Kamal for organising the trip and acting as very interesting guides in the mosque.

Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons for Reception, Year 1, 2 & 3 have finished for the term. Some very pleasing progress has been made by all the pupils in their water confidence and competence. Thank you to Mrs Yasuda and Mrs Lim for helping out every week with the swimming.

International Food Festival

A final reminder that the school PTA have organised an International Food Festival at school this evening beginning at 6.30pm. This promises to be a very interesting event as everyone will have the opportunity to taste the dishes from the home countries of all of our families. The proceeds from this will go towards our Primary Department FOBISSEA Games team.

A special thanks to the following companies that have donated prizes for the Bingo games that will be played during the course of the evening:

  • DHL Worldwide Express

  • The Signature Store in Kompleks Karamunsing

  • Consultant Physician Klinik of Heritage Plaza in Jalan Lintas

Outward Bound for Secondary Department

All the Year 6 - 10 pupils will be spending Monday to Wednesday next week at Outward Bound. This is aimed at improving each pupil's confidence as well as team building skills. It should prove to be a very enjoyable, but challenging trip for these classes.

Sabah Nature Society Presentation

Mr Jimmy Omar from the Sabah Nature Society gave a very interesting presentation to our Reception - Year 11 pupils today. He presented a slide show of the various flora and fauna to be found in Sabah's unique environment. Our school has always had an involvement with the Nature Society, but through the efforts of Mrs Lamb and Mrs Marsh we have started up a Nature Club within our school.
