Dear Parents
This week Mr Van
Rijswijk and Mr White have been attending an ICT (Information and
Communication Technology) Conference in Penang. No doubt they will be
returning with many more ideas on how to get the best out of our new
computer laboratory. They
will be back at school on Monday.
On Wednesday
afternoon, Mrs Anthea Lamb visited the Year 4/5 Class to talk about
pitcher plants. Her depth of
knowledge and obvious passion for the subject, and the many specimens she
brought along made the talk a great success.
All the pupils had a chance to see the carnivorous pitcher plants
close-up. Feeling the waxy
inside of the pitchers, the children could imagine what it would be like
to be an insect slipping down inside the plant to a watery grave.
Thank you Mrs Lamb.

that all school uniform and PE kits should be labeled with your child’s
name. This is especially
important in Early Learning Class and Reception/Year 1 Class.
