Dear Parents
Welcome
back from the Chinese New Year break. I trust that everyone had an
enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Swimming
All
pupils should be using goggles when swimming. Those pupils with long hair
are also encouraged to use a swim cap. Parents are asked to ensure that
their child has the above equipment for swimming lessons. We
are still short of parent volunteers for swimming. To date there has been
a disappointing response to our plea for assistance. Unless we receive
help, swimming for reception to Year 3 will be cancelled. Punctuality
We
still have many pupils arriving late for school. This is very disruptive
for pupils and teachers who are already in class settling into lessons. If
parents find that traffic is causing them to be late, then one solution is
to leave home a little earlier.

Tadpoles Project
Reception
& Year1 have set up an aquarium with tadpoles inside. They are observing
the growth cycle as the tadpole turns into a frog. Parents are most welcome to
visit and observe the work the pupils are doing in relation to this. FOBISSEA Games
There
will be a meeting for parents of those pupils interested in participating in
the Junior FOBISSEA Games in Brunei. The meeting is to be held on Wednesday 7th
February in the Library at 2.20pm. Music Teacher Required
The
school is still looking for a music teacher. If anyone knows of a teacher
interested in a few hours work a week, please ask them to contact me. |
