This
week’s newsletter is the work of two hands with Kevin Davies kindly
finishing off the week whilst I am at the FOBISSEA conference in Thailand. Swings I
am delighted that rubber matting has now been placed in the area under the
swings. This is not only safer, it is also a great deal cleaner as the
children no longer have to drag their feet through muddy puddles. We are
hugely grateful to the PTA for making funds for this available so quickly
and to Elis and Elsie for ensuring that the job was completed promptly and
properly over the half term holiday.
My
annual commitment to the FOBISSEA conference could not have come at a
worse time as I shall miss out on Friday’s House Football competition. I
expect a keen contest and look forward to hearing all about it when I get
back.
It is good to see that we have a number of students keen to participate in next year’s FOBISSEA Games in Penang. We are still trying to sort out arrangements and there is certainly time for your children to take part if they are in Years 3 to 6 and wish to be involved. This is one of the best opportunities offered by our membership of FOBISSEA and I know for certain that the Kathmandu children who came to the Games in KK last year have never forgotten it. |
