Harvest Festival This week, the
Newsletter comes out on Thursday as tomorrow the school will close for the
Harvest Festival Holiday. Reading in ELC
Over the past few weeks a number of parents have been visiting ELC and
reading storybooks to the children. Both the children and the readers have
had an enjoyable time. We would like to thank Mrs Lotte Gronbech, Mrs
Julia Schriver, Mrs Kirsty Stanhope, Mrs Hadjah Hj Mohd Idris and Mrs
Diana Hughes for being so generous with their time and energy. Missing Football
Boots
Another item has gone missing from the Secondary block. A pair of football
boots belonging to a Year 10 boy was removed from the tables outside of
the Science Laboratory. If
you have any information about this matter, please see Mr Davies. This
should serve as another reminder to all students that they must look after
their belongings. Photographs Still
Needed If you have any photographs of the swimming gala or other school events that you would like to see published in the school magazine, please pass them to Ms Hardie or Mr Davies. We need your help so please take the time to look through your photo albums for suitable pictures. |

Sticker Week? This week we have all
been concentrating on politeness, respect and consideration for others. We
were thinking of calling it “Politeness Week” but
“Sticker Week” would have been more appropriate. The students have
been greeting the teachers with an enthusiasm unseen before. There have been
pupils volunteering to carry books for teachers. I don’t think we have ever
had such an obliging group of children. Although the competition finishes this
week, teachers will still hand out stickers next week to deserving pupils.
Wednesday Choir Next Wednesday, June 4,
we shall be starting a choir as an after school club. Mr Albert will be the
choirmaster and, initially, the choir will be open to Years 6 to 9. We hope to
involve more students if the Choir club is successful. Nature Artwork
