Calendar for this term

The calendar for this term has been attached to the Newsletter. You will note that Sports Day is now at the later date of June 27 so as to avoid clashing with examinations.

After School Clubs

After school clubs start next week. We would encourage all of our pupils to participate in as many different activities as possible. Why not take this opportunity to try something new? Our thanks go to Mrs Alice Chung and Mrs Dorothy Sinsua for organising the Dance Club.

Uniform

Next week we shall be paying particular attention to the school uniform. All pupils will be expected to follow the school dress code that can be found at the back of their Personal Organisers. We have found that an increasing number of pupils are coming to school in non-regulation footwear. Just to remind everybody, socks should be plain white and shoes should be predominantly white.

Congratulations to Ying Wong

The Sabah State Gymnastics competition was held between 24th and 26th April at the Likas Sports Complex. Ying Wong from Year 9 participated in the competition with distinction. She won two gold medals, for vaulting and for the team score and secured two fourth places for the beam and floor exercises in the under 15 girls category. As a result of her excellent performance Ying has been selected to represent the state in the Inter Malaysia Gymnastics Competition in July. Well done Ying!

PTA Coffee Morning

The coffee morning will take place at the home of Mrs Ling-Ling Park on Thursday, 8th May at 8:30 am. All parents, especially parents new to the school, are most welcome.

Lunches at School

Thanks to Mrs Ling-Ling Park, hot lunches are available at school. Don’t forget to order yours. 50 cents from the cost of each lunch will be donated to the PTA.
