Dear Parents
Goodbye
While everybody enjoys the end of the school year, it is always tinged with sadness as, inevitably, some families and teachers leave. This year we are saying goodbye to four members of staff; Mrs Hayman, Ms Keoh, Mr Dickinson and Ms Stansfield. Mrs Hayman has only been with us a short time but has made a big impression. We thank her for coming and teaching the Reception/Year 1 class at such short notice. During her time with us, Ms Keoh has proved herself to be a warm, caring and committed teacher and we thank her for all of her efforts. Mr Dickinson has been at the school for two and a half years. He has made a huge contribution to the school, not only in the classroom but also on the playing field. Ms Stansfield has been at the school for six years and during that time she has improved the standard of science education no end. Like her husband, Mr Dickinson, she has been extremely active in organising extra-curricular activities and field trips. We wish our leavers the best of luck in all their future undertakings. Bon voyage!

School Uniform
The new Primary School uniform will be available from the office from 1st September. The office will be open from 9:00am to 3:00pm each day that week.

Mrs Wickham
We can now confirm that Mrs Julie Wickham will be joining the staff in September. She will be teaching our Year 3/4 class. She will be joined in Kota Kinabalu by her husband, Stephen, and two sons, Samuel and Jake.

Fund Raising
Our students have every reason to be proud. They have raised nearly RM5,000 for the charities, WWF Malaysia and Hutan.

The money was raised by an art auction and a sponsored football competition. Six teams took part in the football competition, each named after an endangered species. The Tigers and The Rhinos won and received trophies donated by Pinsa. The Orang Utans raised the most money. WWF Malaysia, Sportmart and the Royal Sporting House donated prizes for the individual students who raised the most money.

At the final assembly this morning, the prizes were given to the following students who raised the most money: Serena Lamb, Chan Ning Lee, Emily Fitzgerald, Jayant Rajah, Michelle Quek, Marco Marsh, Edward Chung, Corissa Loh and Marc Hughes. Congratulations!

Our thanks go to Ms Stansfield and Mr Dickinson whose hard work and commitment made these fund-raising events possible.
