PTA News Don’t forget about the PTA’s “KIS Family Disco”. It takes place next Friday at the Blue Lagoon Lounge, Sutera Harbour, starting at 6:00pm. Tickets are available from the office. More information is given on the back of the Newsletter. Yesterday, our pupils were treated to bags of cookies from the PTA for their effort during politeness week. Thank you! The PTA has arranged a KFC Day for Friday, July 18. Any child wishing to order should return the attached form and money to the office by Wednesday, July 16. The new uniform for our Primary pupils will be available from the office from September 1. A PTA
Public Meeting was held on Thursday morning. The meeting discussed a
number of issues including uniforms, the Family Disco, the School
Barbeque, expanding the hot lunches programme and the events for next
term. Unfortunately, only four parents, besides the committee itself,
attended the meeting. As you will have noticed, the PTA committee has been
very active and has organised many events for the benefit of the school.
They deserve more support from us all so let’s give them as much help as
possible. Cookery Club Yesterday afternoon, the members of the Cookery Club were working very hard baking delicious cookies to sell at break time today. Hopefully everybody has had a chance to taste them. Thanks to Tong You, Nor Fadilah, Dini, Kelly, Ms Keoh and Ms Leong for their efforts. The money raised will go towards the club’s expenses. |
After School
Clubs The clubs will take place as usual next week. There will be no clubs during the final week of term. A Reminder Reports will be sent home today with all our children. Please remember to complete the reply slip and send it to school with your child on Monday. Parent teacher conferences will be held on Monday, July 14, for the Secondary School and Tuesday, July 15, for the Primary School. The appointment forms for Secondary students have already been circulated. For primary pupils, please see the teacher in person or send a note in if you wish to make an appointment. Book Donation Mrs Iggy Marsh has donated a large number of books for young children to the school. Thank you Mrs Marsh for your generous gesture. Charity
Football Tournament Congratulations to all the students who took part in the football tournament. The event has raised well over RM1,000 with more sponsorship money to come. Well done everybody! Library Books Library books must be returned by the end of next week, Friday July 18. We are trying to improve our library so please don’t forget. Trip to Tanjung
