Parent-teacher Meetings A reminder that parent-teacher meetings for secondary students will take place on Tuesday, 9 December. Appointment forms have now been issued and should be completed as promptly as possible, please, to ensure that appointments are made at convenient times. Primary
Parent-teacher Meetings Thank you to the staff and parents who attended the primary parent-teacher meetings last night. They are an excellent forum for discussing your child’s progress and it was very encouraging to see so many of you there.
Rehearsals for the Primary Presentation will take place at Sutera Harbour Marina Movie Theatre from 8.00 am until around 11.00 am on Monday and Tuesday, 8 and 9 December. Children should be dropped off at the Movie Theatre between 7.45 (but no earlier!) and 8.00 (but no later!) please. The children will be taken back to school by bus after the rehearsals have finished and resume their normal school day.
Do hurry to buy your tickets for the primary presentation. School has been abuzz this week with rehearsals, so Let’s Celebrate! the children’s hard work at the performance on Thursday, 11 December. Tickets are available from the school office priced RM30 for adults and RM 12 for children of school age. The ticket price includes food after the show and we really need to know numbers well in advance – so please buy your tickets as soon as possible. |
Year 1/2 celebrated Thanksgiving last Tuesday. Students talked about the things they were thankful for and sang songs about giving thanks. Parents were invited to attend a Thanksgiving lunch organized by Mrs Norie Heywood. A big thank you to the parents who attended and who assisted in the lunch programme.
In conjunction with the Year 3/4 presentation on Diwali, Mrs Wickham’s class will be hosting a celebration on Wednesday at which typical Diwali food will be eaten. Details will follow by letter. Primary Clubs Because of the primary presentation, there will be no primary clubs next week!
I
would like to thank all the parents who contributed towards the rug for the
Year 3/4 classroom and Mrs Park for organising it. Word Games Our thanks also go to Diana Hughes for donating three word board games to the school’s Thursday Word Games club.

would like to thank all the parents who attended Wednesday night’s
Annual General Meeting. A new Board
of Management was duly elected and will hold its first meeting next
week on Wednesday, 10 December. There is a notice board specially for
Board of Management business at the entrance to the school buildings and
this is a good way for all parents to stay in touch with the management of
our school.
