Dear Parents AGM
Meeting I
would like to thank all the parents that attended last night’s Annual
General Meeting. I would also like to thank the following Board members
who did not seek re-election:- Mr Adrian Vekic, Mr Anders Møller, Dr Ravi Mandalam, Ms Shirley Wong, and Ms Lotte
Thomsen. I would like to thank them for the services that they provided
the school as Board members.
Year
2 – 5 Class Trip Year
2 – 5 students went on a school trip to the Pakar Zoo as part of their
studies on the local environment and habitats. After-school
Clubs Library books, Reading Scheme Books Next
week will be the last week for after-school clubs. There will NOT be any
after-school clubs in the last week of school. Similarly, next week will
be the last week in which students can take library books and reading
scheme books home. These will need to be brought back to school by Friday
5th December.
Thank
you to Mrs Park for donating a Little Tikes boat to Reception/Year 1
class. The class is currently using the boat for role-playing activities.
It will later be used as a sand pit. Thank you also to Mrs Kollert for
transporting the boat to the school. |
Dressing-Up
Clothes Reception/Year
1 class requires any old clothes (adults’/ children’s) for dressing up and
role-playing activities. Please speak to Ms Johnstone if you have anything
suitable. School
Hats School
hats continue to be something of a problem for teachers trying to support the
School Hat Policy. All students should wear the school hat at break times, PE
times and any after-school clubs that are held outdoors. The measure was
implemented as a safety pre-caution against the risk of pre-longed exposure to
the sun. However, we still have large numbers of pupils who do not have or who
have lost their hat. Please ensure that your child has a school hat and have
their name written inside it.
Secondary
Department Grade cards will be sent home next Tuesday. Parent
Teacher Interviews
Hari
Raya Holiday The
school will be closed for the Hari Raya Public Holiday on Friday 6th
December. There is slight possibility that the moon may be sighted a day
earlier, and therefore Thursday 5th December would then be a
holiday also. Please watch the TV2 news at 8pm on Wednesday evening to
check for this. PTA
Meeting This meeting will be held on Tuesday 3rd December at 8:30am in the TV/Video Room, KIS. |
