National
Curriculum Test Results All
Year 2 to Year 9 students sat the English National Curriculum Tests back
in May this year. Some of these had to be sent to England to be marked.
We have now received the results back and will be sending them home with
your child’s school report. Should you need clarification on what the
resulting levels mean, please make an appointment to see your child’s
teacher. As
a school we have performed very well, particular given the fact that we
have a high number of students with English as a second language.
Certainly we are well ahead of the national averages in England and
Wales, and our scores compare very favourably with other international
schools. The table below displays the percentage of students in our
school that scored levels at or above the expected target for their year
group. It also shows the percentage of passing levels that students in
England and Wales (UK) scored last year as well as the target that the
UK Government has set for schools.
