Dear Parents

Teacher Professional Development Course

Ms Stansfield and Ms Dennis will be on a professional development course next week from Tuesday to Friday. The course is based on Key Stage 1 – 3 Science, with an emphasis on assessment procedures. Ms Yee will be covering Ms Stansfield’s classes and Mrs Abdul Rahman will be covering Ms Dennis’ class during this time.

Year 4&5 Teacher Arrangements

Mrs Anuar Ghani has had to suddenly return home to France on compassionate grounds. At this stage she will be away for up to three weeks. I will be covering her class next week. Weekly lessons have already been prepared and so there will be very little disruption to the class.

Clubs

After school clubs will begin next week on Monday. The only exception to this will be netball on Tuesday. This will begin the following week as Ms Stansfield will be away next week. Students from the Japanese School will be joining our clubs next week on Thursday as a trial to see whether it is feasible for them to continue doing this for the rest of the term.

PTA News

The PTA made RM2,739.00 profit after selling drinks, food and t-shirts at the recent FOBISSEA Games. They still have crates of soft drinks and mineral water left over from FOBISSEA that are for sale at heavily discounted prices.

School Photographer

The photographer will be in school next week to take passport size photos of all new students so that their photos can be included in the school magazine.
