My heart sighs from missing you
But I know its the right thing to do
So I keep what I feel inside my soul
For some reason it doesn't help to console

Even if I could I wouldn't know where to start
So I tell you everything except this one part
It's the part that I tell you exactly how I feel
Confusing emotions is what I would reveal

I think about you often, about friendship and trust
You were there for me when I cried and cussed
I miss those days when we would laugh and stuff
But now things are strained and talk is tough

I don't know what went wrong, but now its a mess
I didn't even say anything, but maybe you could guess
All I want now is to have what we had before
I don't want to feel this sadness and loss anymore
