I cry for dawn
And for the pain to be gone
I hope for peace
And for that sweet release
But I feel sadness inside
I just wish I could hide
Away from it all
Instead I just fall
Into loneliness
This heartache I profess
No I'm nothing great

As many before
Has felt this I'm sure
But I like to think
That I'm on the brink
Of something new
Expectant healing is due
To this poor little heart
