"Falling"

Tears keep falling
From my eyes and my heart
As I feel it slipping away
And we grow farther apart

Time has healed no wounds for me
It just prolongs this pain
My heart won't let you go
It keeps hoping in vain

There's no use in remembering
Happy memories do no good
I keep wishing I could forget
If I knew how I would

So the tears will continue to fall
Not sure for how much more
But I'll wait for the day
When my heart is no longer yours
