For those who are unaware, the grunge monster is dead. Kismet played their last ever show on September 3rd 2003 at Pepper's in Cheltenham. While the carnage that occurred at the gig was somewhat unnecessary and potentially threatening to future gigs at the venue, no long-term harm arose and as such it is likely that the event will be looked back upon with a sense of rockunroll pride.
Kismet existed as a musical entity for almost four and a half years, and was in the public eye for over two. The project reached a natural end on amicable terms. This final version of the site aims to serve as a factual reference to the band's existence, and will remain online indefinitely.
Thanks go out to the following:
Mike Holden, Alex Hewson and Joe Alexander, for their musical input (at various levels) and general support.
Lee Holder, Andi (Faction), Al (Guildhall) and others who provided good gigs.
Friends, families, fans, and anyone who bought CDs, attended gigs, and generally showed and interest.
Too many bands to mention.
No thanks to:
Justin (Kooler)
Neil and Terry (Loungefish)
Barney (Massive Retaliation)
