I am a slacker. I feel bad for neglecting this space for so long, but I think my previous entries annoy me so I avoided updating. Anyway, new look, green was so tiresome. Colors are inspired by colourlovers.com, an amazing site. Also I might be getting over the non-capitalizing thing. Maturing, probably.
victoria's secret is interested in me. yesterday at work they called for my boss, checking my references. i would love to work there, it smells nice. letha is 38 now, i can almost ride my mount.
okay that problem is quite fixed, things are much better. anyway i'm having a garage sale! originally i was gonna have it at alex's townhouse but the 'rents thought our house would be better. and it was fantastic, we had sooo many people and its only a thursday! i made $17.25 today, and none of my clothes sold! hopefully they will these next few days and i will have lotsa monies. tomorrow i attend my registration for next year at stout. woo, i'm actually going to college. its weird since i've taken a whole year for myself, and everyone else is gonna be a sophomore. not that i ever didn't want to go to college, i just wanted to relax before too many responsibilities hit.
so many sighs. i am so torn up and restless right now. this is a personal thing which i don't feel like sharing, even to you non-existant readers. i just don't know what to do, but something needs to be done. everything might blow up in my face, or it might get better. but the way life has been currently is just not alright. i have a few projects, i have to paint a draccus from 'name of the wind', which is probably one of my all time favorite books. oh wait, it is. and i am filling out an absurd amount of apps coz i need a new job. 12 hours a week just isn't gonna cut it. oops have to go time for my 3 hour shift at work. ....
 ohh sorry i forgot about xmas! my parents got me this camera, it's pretty nice. matches my phone! and alex got me a camera too, but he returned it since i had one already. life is good. i don't work til 2:30.. yes!
happy new year! today is my baby's birthday.. so i made a painting for him. yes, it looks bad, done pretty quick, but i'm kinda doing a series. all his cars. (monte carlo, firebird, mustang, and the truck) it's fun. i got my ears pierced today. i got 4, 2 on each lobe. they don't hurt in the least compared to that damn cartilage one.
aww this is mah puppy. it's for alex coz i didn't feel like painting him! megan bredeson came home this weekend, we hung out and planned our trip! (march 25 - april 11) and i bought my ticket. i'm excited, we're going to poland for 6 days and do lotsa fun stuff. yay i can finally drink, as in order alcohol legally. whenever i want.
ganesha is for ashley, i hope it matches her room. the victorian looking one is for my mom, and should match her room also. the duster is for my little brother who loves them. most fun. i just hope no one looks in here or they will see their present. chevy's a great boy, a little mischevious but he listens alright. we love him, and he has the cutest face. i'm gonna do a painting for alex of him, if i can finish in time.

once i got off alex worshipped me, and i slept for hours. then i was discombobulated when i woke up ( i thought it was the morning or something when it was late night). yesterday was alright. after all the boring morning meetings we finally went to the tradeshow!! it was great, although when you're a teen bookseller compared to the older booksellers you tend to be ignored. apparently we don't matter or something. even though i'm a buyer for the store...but whatever. i got tons of sweet books, all free. there was this one publisher who was purely like graffiti art books and stickers and stuff. WAY cool. based in cali of course. i'm so ready to be done with mba though. very tiring.
alex made ones too, hate me: blue october, the queen & i: gym class hereos, struggle: ringside, get stoned: hinder.. god i LOVE my computer, it can do anything. These mp3s were sent wirelessly with bluetooth to my phone. i also made a background for it, and it's perfect. i am so happy right now!! oh and also i attended mba (midwest bookseller's association) today. it was basically alot of training classes for independant booksellers to show them a few competitive advantages. we need it badly! everyone was great, i learned alot. later around 6:00 they served yummy hor'deurves for the award ceremony. seven big authors came, and everyone got a copy of their book which was signed. kate dicamillo was there, louise erdrich, david laskin, lois ehlert, james campbell, & anne margaret lewis. they were all really nice and funny.
going to visit stout in a few weeks, gotta start re-applying to colleges. weird. even after a year it isn't any easier knowing where to apply. art = money, inferior art = cheaper.
  
i love my technology. i don't have the phone yet, but i will. haha. my ipod rocks and my macbook is the greatest thing i've ever owned. very effortless and cute and powerful.
i love this computer but its hard to type really fast coz i use the backspace alot and its in a weird place on here. and the buttons are a bit different. i miss alex!!! i feel all empty.  |
