Year 2000 Guestbook

Hello to all! I live in Tracy, CA. which is just one hour east of the San Francisco Bay Area. I moved to CA in 1979 with my husband and two sons. My husband works in the Silicon Valley and I am an office manager for the Livermore Municipal Airport. My sons are married and each have two children. They both live in Tracy. I look forward to visiting Penna. each year. I still call Pennsylvania my home!! I plan to attend the next class reunion (40 years?) WOW!! Thanks to Bill for the great opportunity to contact all our friends from the past and I wish everyone a healthy New Year. See you in 2005!

I had a good time at the reunion and Ice Breaker. I hope everyone else did also. When reviewing the list of attendees after I got home, I realized there were a bunch of people at the reunion I didn't get to visit. I think it's because everyone is so much better looking now than their picture in my yearbook (which is my only comprehensive reference) so I didn't recognize you. You people know who you are, and I apologize for not talking to you. What this is leading up to is a question. Is anyone going to match names to the faces in the picture taken at the reunion? The photocopy of the 25 year reunion picture with the names was very helpful. Hope to see everyone in five years if not sooner.

To all of you last minute decision makers: Let's go! Fill out the return portion of your invitation and get those checks in the mail. And while you're at it, call 3 or 4 of your long lost friends and tell them you'll meet them at the reunion. We want to make this a great reunion. We have a big hall and we would like to fill it up. So many of you havn't been to a reunion in years and some of you have missed them all! This takes a lot of hard work to locate everyone and put the whole thing together, so please support us and come for a night of fun! To all of you that have already responded, a great big THANK YOU! Any comments or questions, please E-mail me at [email protected] or phone me at (724)337-6629. See you in August. Take care. Margie (Speer) Hazlett

Greetings to all class of 1965 students! I had misplaced my info regarding our upcomping class reunion. When I found it today, I saw your web page info. Bill, it is really great! I really enjoyed looking at the pictures, and reading the mail from our classmates who have signed this guest book. I have to admit that many of you, I don't remember, but I do remember you, Tony Giunta, Margie Speer, Jackie Flemm, Mary Louise Genta, and Sharon Traenkner....(and some others). You have to adimit,35 years is a long time and my memory is not as sharp as it once was. I hope that all of you have found your niche in life and are happy. Against our counselor's advice, I did not pursue a trade. I am a teacher and have taught for Pittsburgh Public Schools for 28 years. I also teach for the United States Army Reserves where I have been a member for 18 years. I hope to retire from both in the next couple of years. Hope to see you at the reunion. Be happy,be well, and be safe.

Since my tennis team lost today, I'm free on Aug. 5th and will come to the reunion if I can still sign up. Are there any 65 Kiski grads that would like to play tennis on the 4th, 5th, or 6th? Congrats to all of the Reunion Committee. It is great that some one keeps this reunion alive! And also a THANK YOU to Bill for this web page. It would be great to hear from you. I have lived back in Florida since April of 1989 in the Clearwater area and I love the weather although I am NOT a sunbather. (I don't get enough time off work for that!!) One good thing about living in Florida is that everyone travels here at one time or another--so you get to see lots of old friends. My mom is still living in my childhood home so we also travel back to Pittsburgh every July--but maybe this year we will come in August. It would be fun to see ALL of our classmates again! If anyone out there see this and wants to correspoond, please do so. So long until then!

Billy,Dan Hooper, Bill Burtner, Ron Kregiel and I rehashed the early 60's over many brews. Tony Juinta had a lame excuse about teaching a class at Pitt and backed out. Tony, you missed a gooood time! Saw Tony in the Parole office in Greensburg yesterday, not sure if he works there or is on parole. Who wrote FU on the knob that snowy day? Donnie

Hi everyone! I'm living in Sebring FL with my husband, John and our two dogs. I was back in the Pittsburgh area last weekend to visit my first grandchild. It sure was cold. So-o-o glad I live in Florida. Has anyone heard from Linda Shank? I'd love to get in touch with her. Hope to see you at the reunion if I can make it. Linda
