Ms Berenike Iuta |
Ms Iuta, a Beruan and Tuvaluan Kiribati-born, is one of our graduating students this year. She is 26 years old but not yet deciding for the next step..."marriage". She completed her LLB degree at the first semester, 2002 and now she is in Kiribati working at the Attorney General's Office as State Advocate.
She first joined KiLSA in 1999 and was appointed 'Secretary' but later promoted to the 'Finance Minister' during the second semester of 1999 when the Finance Minister was taking up another post in Fiji.
During her stay here at the Emalus Campus, she had participated in many school activities like the Alta Conference in 2001, USPECSA activities, and many more. She was an active member and had won the 'KiLSA Best Dancer Award' in 2000 and the 'Quality Award' in 2002..
Ms Iuta is a smiling lady and always focuses her principles on Christian doctrines. She always laughs at jokes but you cannot tell whether she is really laughing about the funny story or laughing at the story-teller. In times of anger, she often wear confusing smiles.
She likes reading the Bible, hates fictions and newspapers as they always frightened her. She lacks interest in sports but prefers spending her spare time 'shopping in town' and 'watching comedies'.
KiLSA wish to thank Ms Nike for all her great contribution that the association really missed. We wish you all the best of luck in your future plans and especially in your PDLP studies next year, 2003.
