| Tonya - June, 2000 Its been seven months since you disappeared I dont even remember how you look Ive since stopped searching for you and its clear You belong in a memoir, a book But to whom would I dedicate this piece? To the one who took my virginity That is with women, for you know that hes The one who at the time regularly Filled my waking moments with a smile and My heart with warmth, then you came along, you The one I had been looking to show my land Of birth, the one who caused quite a stir, too I would still show you my world, if you show Me yours, for thats my want for us, you know. Two Step - July 28, 2003 Blues eyes to swim in Red hair to play with Two hands to hold A smile to elicit He sings lullabyes and love songs We jointly serenade while driving on the freeway He holds me close for dancing I often make the mistake of leading We each embrace the other when tears fall And laugh at the dogs' chaperoning skills In a moment of bravery I ramble on ad nauseum on his qualities While he sends a list one item at a time ending each email We've agreed to take it slow see how it develops With all the talks the "I miss you"s the sleepless nights apart I am watching something very special form Here's to the dance, Cowboy |
| Tough Guy - November 30, 2001 Strength is not shown through unshed tears but perseverence through them hold your head up whether the eyes are dry you can still see through them your heart shines from here to where Matt now lies it beats for all you love and forgets its own body's needs and in the end gets tired you grew up with ideals of how men are supposed to act don't cry just deal but you've been "strong" for too long allow yourself tears for lost innocence all you want is to be a kid for a little more but the world won't let you who could handle it? your mother snapped a long time ago your brother was next your grandfather dies and your girlfriend has issues who could handle it? keep the chin up I'll get out soon it will be better just hang in there and realize the best things come to "he" who waits |
