Love - JK
Jennifer - November 30, 2000
The eyes I have yet to see
The lips I have yet to kiss
The hands I have yet to hold
The feeling of eternal bliss
She warms me with her messages
Typed on a computer
In a house I do not know
With a mother who forbids her
To write these notes
To another
Woman

I care not how young she is
For chronology is not
the prescriptor of the mind
and the soul she has got
Had I cared I would not have
Let her into my own world
I would not have known her as
More than just "another girl"
Instead I now
Wait for notes from
This One

I don't know why I'm afraid
I know I have nothing to
Fear, she is nice, she is kind
She is intelligent, too
She is what I look for
In a woman, if I could
Make one from a recipe
No better woman for me would
Appear for me
It can't be a dream
I hope

Kelly - February 15, 2001
I should go to sleep
But she's on my mind
She'll be in my dreams tonight
Of that I am sure
I anxiously await her e-mails
The little photos she sends me of her
Made through her web-cam
I am so very afraid
That she will be someone different
In person
As has happened in the past
If she doesn't
I could easily devote the rest of my life
to her
No matter how many other women
Enter into my life
She asked me if the height difference
would matter to me
My reaction was
"How cute!"
She sends me little cards with flowers
Virtually
Almost every day
Every morning
She gets on her computer just to send
me
An "I miss you sweetheart" message
I hope she knows the sentiment is
returned
A thousand times
I am still not sure if she is of this world
I am looking forward to her taking me to
her world
Among the clouds and other angels
Jean's Sonnet - October-December, 2004
I dreamed one night of a lover so pure,
A sharer of secrets most intimate,
Not of boasts nor proclaimings counterfeit,
Of whose intentions I was ever sure.
He'd worship me earth-bound Aphrodite.
And I, he, my most gentle Hephaestus.
But, with no Ares to come betwixt us,
Free we'd be to cher'sh our love almighty.
He would surprise all with his virtues rare.
From such an unassuming man would come
Treasures and gems of a prodigious sum,
And the pow'r to deliver from despair.
And, lo, 'ere came a knight to rescue me.
'Tis certain, my love, I dreamd of thee.

Josh - (April 20, 1999)
he is in my dreams
now
not those kinds of
dreams
he
protects
me
He
gives
me his arms, he
comforts
me
No matter what has
happened
he is
there, but only in my
dreams

Right now
dreams
are all I have
