America’s Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response

Cub Scout Pack History

Cub Scouting began in America back in 1930 and continues today with these nine purposes/goals:
Positively influence character development and encourage spiritual growth.
Help boys develop habits and attitudes of good citizenship.
Encourage good sportsmanship and pride in growing strong in mind and body.
Improve understanding within the family.
Strengthen boys' ability to get along with other boys and respect other people.
Foster a sense of personal achievement by helping boys develop new interests and skills.
Show how to be helpful and to do one's best.
Provide fun and exciting new things to do.
Prepare Cub Scouts to become Boy Scouts.
These goals are accomplished through a program geared to a variety of group activities such as crafts, skits, games, annual food drive, the Pinewood Derby, camping, and other fun stuff!
Emphasis is placed on self-improvement and "doing you best" rather than winning or losing. Our mission is to provide the BEST scouting experience and as much fun as possible for our scouts.
