After drifting badly off course during a hot air balloon exploration, Dr Fjordahl stumbles across a lone island with a volcano and beautiful tropic scenery. Upon landing, Fjordahl follows a butterfly and finds himself standing next ro a hatched egg with a small teddy bear like creature in it. The creature makes a strange sound as it rolls.... "Do-Be Do-Be". It was this sound that gave the Dr the idea of naming the creature a DoBe....and also naming the island DoBeDo after it!.As the Dr sits by the ocean one night, he ponders, watching the wid dobe picking fruit for their supper.He writes a note in a bottle, stating that he has found the island and has plans in which the island will develop in the future. The bottles drift out into the silent sea...
Soon, a village is found. More and more people hear of the Dr's promise and begin 2 move to Dobedo in rapid numbers. Night clubs, bars and other buildings are soon built for the visitors. Danny and Peter, childhood friends, decide to power up the night club with their mixing tables and they soon are running partys every Friday night. But not all is good as soon an unwanted visitor with his own diobolical plans makes a splashing entrance as he is washed up on the shores. 'Dr' Trumpfellow is soon investigated by reporter Victoria Colt and detective Tom'O Connel who want 2 find just what Trump' wants. Yet, Trump' goes on, buying and earning, making one wilson myers bankrupt through gambling. It is now that Trump' starts a new business namely 'Trumpfellow Incorporated'.
Now their is even more problems, Jenny Jones ( Nerd in training) tranforms mysteriously into the evil Diana Bach who soon joins Trumpfellow in his money grabbing scheme. Meanwhile, Dr Fjordahl has discovered and is researching the ancient Dobe ruins on the island as Trumpfellow meets a new friend... upon kicking a helpless dobe into radioactive lava, yet another transformation is formed. The birth of Evil Bob :-S. And finally, Trump plans to make a Theme Park over the sacred ancient ruins while Victoria and Tom look into things. Also, a new Dobedoer arrives, daughter of wilson....Priss soon takes a shining to the slugish (yet cool) Danny C.
