More Guns, Less Crime: Understanding Crime and
John R. Lott Jr.

This book is a summary of an exhaustive study on gun laws, statistics, their interpretations, and their misinterpretations. It's chock full of statistics, tables, and charts showing how some of the popular arguments for gun control don't really stand up to scrutiny. There's also a lot of intangibles involved that aren't statisticable (a new Bush word). Unfortunately, this book is so in depth that it takes a lot of concentration and willingness to learn all there is about gun laws and statistics. I wasn't ready for that right now. The introduction was good. It had a lot of reasons why gun statistics are misinterpreted and was fairly broad in it's attention to detail.

I will check this book out again when I'm in the mood for intense gun law/statistic lessons.
